Sunny either needs to free himself of his aspect or kill her. This is just torturous. I get that he loves her and he doesn’t want to hurt her, but the dude’s entire life and worldview revolves around freedom and survival. I could understand it eaelier in the story, but the way he seems to care about his freedom Less instead of it nawing at him and increasing his obsession feels unrealistic and just forces the romance.

I’m starting to think Sunny doesn’t care as much about his freedom as he proclaims. He’s quite dismissive of it being taken away so regularly.

It does, but it has two forms. The porcelain shell that empowers his skin and then the mantle which is an armor like the memory was. He’s using the armor form around his shadow shell. So it’s acting like an armor memory.

I’m willing to bet that they’ll regain their memories of the rotation once they leave the whirlpool. Just because time flows in a circle there doesn’t mean that time resets.

I kinda hope we don’t hear anything. I like how everything is in limbo and we don’t know if they’ll come back decades late or only seconds.

I agree, but it’s hinted at she’s getting guilt tripped a lot, which would make her liable to do something risky.

I wanna know if she saw Sinny. And if so does he appear to her as Sunny or as a nightmare creature?

If oracles are aligned to certain objects/beings of power to gain their visions, does that mean Cassie can see people’s fate through drawing on the nightmare spell and its relation to fate, or is hers purely her aspect?

And we’re back to square one plotwise. This novel seems to make arcs in such a way that the great reveal is too galaxy brained for me to follow, so I gotta wait for the reveal pt. 2 chapter but I’m out of coins.

This is all very cool, but the release has gotten so slow it’s nearly 1 every 2 days.

I feel like this would be a good moment for Sunny to get pulled under and we see some alternate history that led to the 6 plagues.
