Am I the only one getting annoyed at Morrelia's indecisiveness. Hopefully we'll see her make a choice soon.
Think about it the other way. She sees the distress on her superiors from the existence of Anthony. She has first hand knowledge of the ant and some of its abilities. As part of the Leigon, she should volunteer that information just for the increased survival chance of her group.
Havoc76:What's she supposed to do? Say the Colony is friendly thus making her get scolded on how she's a legionnaire now and should act like it? Insist the Colony shouldn't be fought which would make her father throw her in the brig so she doesn't run away? Try and call her mother to convince her father and they both double team her. Or maybe she should just run away immediately which would make her father even more desperate to get her back. Imo she has no choice but to wait until the war between Titus and Anthony comes to a standstill as they both acknowledge the other's strength and then she steps forward to negotiate peace.
I'm actually happy she didn't tell him, I want anthony to fight him and then tell him he knows her daughter. Fighting when suddenly a mind bridge is formed: "Hello! I'm Anthony! Why are you killing us? I hope you're having a good day!" (smooth) "I AM TITUS OF THE ABYSSAL LEGION! DIE YOU ABOMINATION!!!" (wants to check if the abomination is crazy yet) "Titus... I heard that name somewhere..." (Typical anthony, forgets) "I cut Garralosh's arm off." (surprised anthony isn't crazy) "Wait, would you by amy chance be Morrelia's father"
People think Com T would immediately prefer negotiations, and I'd like to think that he would too, but that's not necessarily likely. You all are forgetting that the colony is strong - not the strongest, but middling levels, and that is the problem . No matter how much you preach how peaceful you are, if you're stockpiling power, people will think you're lying and stalling to attack them. This is made worse because he knows they're intelligent now, intelligence means the ability to lie extremely well. He'll think they brainwashed his daughter, lock her up (hehe), and try to wipe them out before they become too big of a threat . As for everyone saying she's his daughter, remember he got his son killed . He feels bad about it, but that doesn't change the fact that he got him dead . The only thing that would change his mind would be if the ants whooped their azzes and then backed off . The ants can't wipe out the Legion, the consols aren't taking them seriously right now, but if the Legion ends up wiped out, they become enemy number one . The entire army would attack, and spare none .
