This is the most comunist book ever. it starts off sudtle and turns into a distopian north korean nightmare. secrete police, neighbours informing on neighbour, food prices being controled by the government, and murdering any political dissidents. what makes this so much worse is how obvious the author truly believes that the sociaty is a true utopia and anything else is barberism.

this method of government only works if everyone has the same goal. AKA survival of a species. This is not a sustainable system, however if replaced with true free market capitalism this co try would flourish

Hello there, since last year my friend is writing a book. His book is about bloodlines, kingdoms, and superpowers. The problem is he is not getting any support. I told him to share on a couple of sites but it didn't get any attention. If you guys can check that out and leave a comment it would be really good for him. Have a good day. The book's name is: Wolf Bloodline

It's not really the same thing, although it has a few elements of what we call today a communist society you have to remember that the story takes place in what we would call today the middle ages, in the real world the middle ages were much worse for the people than what happens in the story and you're ignoring how much the mc brought to their society. Also, what you call a nightmare for the people who lived at the time probably wasn't anything out of the ordinary and that would be even more so in the case of the novel where people have to live in a world where demons and witches exist, you replace the secret police with church spies and you get the inquisition and the Salem trials, things that really happened in the real world, can you imagine living in an age where any of your neighbors could denounce you as a heretic and you might get hanged just like that? There's no point in taking our modern world view of capitalism and comparing it to the world of the novel, if you want to compare you have to do so by taking our history during the middle ages and seeing if it would truly be such a nightmare to have what they have in the novel.
