Well, can't say i'm surprised, chinese novels rarely have a proper ending, it's always weird and out of nowhere like this.

This is basically a male wish fulfillment novel, the ml can cheat and do whatever he wants and nothing happens to him, i don't really mind wish fulfillment novels and i even enjoy reading some of them but this one is really bad, like seriously it's trash compared to other "harem" stories.

I forgot to say this but thanks for the great translation and also the author for writing 799 chapters that were very fun to read.

These chapters are so short that i wouldn't be surprised if they are intentionally broken into two pieces to make readers pay more, i press the page down key once and the chapter is pretty much over haha, and i also hate how much this author keeps mentioning the fact that the mc is a woman, like we get it she's a pretty woman who is just as capable as men but you don't have to mention it almost every chapter and specially when the chapters are so short that other novels have chapter twice as long.

And the nerve to lock this novel haha, i might as well pay for chapters on ww if that's the case.

Not like he's wrong though, sure OP made some mistakes but he's not an author who needs people to like his novel if he wants the novel to be popular, and one of the first things that would cause an impression on the reader is how well written your novel is and if it has grammatical mistakes or not, it's one thing when the mistakes were made by a translator but when it's original and the author can't be bothered to fix mistakes that even the readers pointed out then i don't know what to say about this author's care for his own work. I mean, english isn't my first language but even i get triggered when i have to correct these mistakes in my head while reading a novel that has such high ratings, it makes me feel like i've been fooled by the author.

Imagine paying to read this haha, i don't understand why writers in such a big site don't bother hiring an editor if they're too lazy to fix their own mistakes, at least that way people wouldn't criticize the novel because of bad translation or grammatical mistakes.

Not the OP but i would give a 1 star rating now if i were to review again (i think i reviewed at 2 stars back then) but i can't be bothered to do so, that being said i'll explain a bit about why i would give such a low rating, i can't judge too much about the world building and plot because i didn't read that far but the beginning of this novel is unreadable, the writing quality is terrible and it REALLY needs an editor to fix the grammatical mistakes, it just feels like the author is too lazy to fix it so he might as well get someone to help him with that because the initial impression is what will make readers stick to the novel instead of dropping it. Now that we got that out of the way let's talk about the story, the writing quality isn't the biggest problem in my opinion although it would play a big part in why i would rate this novel 1 star, as others have said in their reviews the mc's IQ is in the negatives, you can never call this mc a human being unless he is actually a mentally challenged person because he truly doesn't act like a normal person would in most situations, he's just too dumb and even if the author wants to write him in this way to make it more noticeable later if he starts acting smart in my opinion this isn't how you write character growth, it's not realistic and he should take notes from those shonen mangas like OP and Fairy Tail if he wants to write a slightly dumb mc who becomes smarter and more mature later because he grew up. Honestly, i don't know how Supreme Magus is only 5th place in the originals ranking while this novel is number 1 with ratings almost as good as Lord of the mysteries (imo the best novel in this site and one of the very few i would rate as 5 stars), i find it hard to believe that there isn't some kind of manipulation in the ratings here and it's ridiculous that authors can delete reviews just because they want to.
