I enjoy reading this fanfic. There are some parts that may seem "forced" and made people hate this fanfic, which is stupid. This is a fanfic and story will not be the same as canon, which is the actual point of writing fanfic, to change the plot. MC is actually progresing slowly, both in character and in power. The story between character's are nice and enjoyable, especially the romance. You just need to be patient and let the Author cook, he is a great cook. All in all it is a great read and you should try it. Hope to see more chapters soon.

Hmm, is it not the point for fanfic to change some plots of the canon. I mean if the Author does not change something, it would be copy and paste just from different perspective. Still you are right for AU tag, it would help other readers. P.S. While I said stupid, I didn't mean stupid people, even the smartest people make stupid decisions, I didn't mean to offend anyone. Still thanks for the comment, it's nice to talk to others about fanfics. [img=recommend]

While I currently am enjoying this fic (not without some gripes here and there), I should point out that on the contrary, if this was an OC fic, yes, it may be some of the few only ways to make fics interesting. But this is a self-insert/SI OC fic, someone with foreknowledge. In my opinion, changes should only happen either directly or indirectly due to the MC's actions, which this isn't the case. And it should be exactly that since there currently isn't an [AU] tag to excuse the changes, which this is and the author failed to add. I quite like seeing how an MC changes things, but also dislike those that stick to canon, especially when it doesn't make sense at certain points. So it's not "stupid," and shows you don't fully know the point of writing fanfic. Any flac this fic gets for that, is reasonably well deserved, especially if readers feel like they waisted their time due to a lack of warning reading this. It's like going to see a movie that was falsely advertised or no warning of explicit content. Another example; I for one dislike system fics (depends), but wouldn't deducts starts on a review for it if properly advertised. Other "stupid" people however, would, for just having a system and not for how it's implemented.

That's why you read with the expectations for the MC to directly or indirectly change thing to make things interesting, derailing some canon events or all in some way or another, minutely or majorly. Taking advantage of their foreknowledge in some way or another, but also losing that advantage to some degree as things progress. Not for things to be changed automatically, thus making it an AU. If an author can only stick to canon, just being from a different perspective, than it just says more about their abilities to write a good fic rather than every non-AU fic just being a copy-paste as you say. However, (not in all cases) I can say the same about authors writing AU to make it easier to derail canon and make things different.
