It’s a great fanfic, mid YA novel, the characters feel real in universe, most characters are almost not flat too, the problems start after the characters are done, the choice of making extras from different universes is almost fine, and then sung jinwoo will be part of Japan’s special forces. Mc sucks, the whole book is just about a guy becoming a terrible person with no one able to stop him because he is too strong, imagine the boys but it’s homelander’s life as a teenager before there was anyone who could beat him, or invincible but about Nolan before earth

It is indeed true that I believe ‘character development’ is not something that always has to be positive. I wouldn’t go as far as comparing him to Homelander, but I get where this is coming from and why people could have this idea. Concerning the OCs such as Sung Jin Woo, I only steal chara designs (washed down and less powerful) so readers will have an easier time remembering OCs when I use them later on in the story - this is not a crossover, yet I understand your point for other readers have said the same thing. Thank you very much for this input and your review, hope you still had a nice reading experience.
But it’s not just character designs, you steal the names, in a fanfic where we go only have names, the issue is not that one of the characters is basically sung Jin woo, the issue is that sung Jin woo confronts the mc, then later it is clarified that actually that isn’t sung Jin woo from solo leveling but sung jin woo normal Korean citizen in japan’s special forces
