Really promising novel with a great mc, power system, and world. I really like the mc’s personality and character. However if I had to choose one thing to criticize it would be that despite the mc being cold, merciless, greedy, shameless, and unpersonable(character traits I do like in an mc) he succeeds too often in convincing others to do what he wants. He manages to convince like 4 different people that are all stronger than him and previously had no or almost no interest in him to do/give what he wants from them. Spoilers Within the free chapters alone he becomes the disciple of 3 different people in 3 different professions, pretty much just because he wanted to. Even more egregious in my opinion, a powerful(but injured and trapped) being basically sacrifices its life to become a power up for the mc. However it’s still a very interesting novel and even the things I criticized aren’t that bad, they just are magnified by how little time passes between them and that we’re never shown a similar attempt that failed, each attempt just succeeds.

1st master didn’t know he was talented, the 3rd was actively hostile to him before deciding to teach him, the being that sacrifices itself to give him a power up knew him for less than 5 minutes. The blacksmith was the most reasonable example, only made to look unreasonable by its similarity to the other examples.

TheComedy_Mask:But isn't he talented and people want to raise talented disciples and also they all did test on him which made at the least cough puke cry blood literally so they accepted him it's like he just said so and they accepted it's because he had the qualitys they wanted which in mist of the time is withstanding pain and hard work like he literally tortured him self to gain power and he's young yet powerful of course they want the best disciple they van get and they are not nobles they are hunter's blacksmiths i would agree if nobles teached him without price but nobles are his enemies and they don't treat others like human but watch dogs they train so your wrong on him getting accepted
