It’s because the ending WAS rushed. The Author himself called this novel a "flop" because it is considered so by 'other' authors in the Webnovel community, so he ended up giving up on this story and ending it sharply like an attention seeking loser that didn’t get enough attention and let others dictate what he does. (Not trying to insult him since I and him understand each other pretty well but I just got annoyed that he didn’t push through regardless of what others say. Anyway, if you can’t believe in your own work then who will?)
