oh look I have written, and I also agree that the main comment was correct, the novel fell apart hard and fast, and became such a pain to read becuase of repeats, mix-ups, and of course the stupid logic from the book sometimes just to get a face slapping scene, even messing up worldbuilding already said

One doesn't need to be a cook to check if the food tastes bad. Same thing applies in many aspects including novels. This is common sense but apparently some lack even that.
