This story is one of the best books I had read. You rock dear author. Wish to read more books from you. The language is excellent and the story is full of suspense. A must read and the first of its kind.

Certainly not melodrama. I am not a fan of such elements. You see, Pete is a desperate virgin who never talked to a girl before. Now he has three girls around him. One, an amazonian warrior. Two, a loli. Three, a forest-dwelling bandit. He's likely to drool over them and try to get some action. But there is censorship in the game, and only by activating the dark system can he see nudity. The previous line is a spoiler. He explicitly says he wants to build a harem, but he has to fulfill quests and gain their acceptance.

MC will simp, but he will remain a closet simp. Affinity, Likability and Virtue are three attributes in the gameplay that are needed to be kept high. And so, he has to be careful with anything he says or does.

You nailed it. The situation at one point is exactly like Ainz Ooal Gown. One of his skills neutralizes negative thoughts. Moreover, he gets bonus for positive thoughts and is penalized for negative ones.

What was the first question? Whether it will turn into harem in the future? Well, this a fantasy story. So, I am going to actively resist it turning into harem, or it would hurt the plot. So, the answer is no. Some perversion will always be there, however, because MC is after all a teenager, and hence, perpetually desperate.
