I've only read a few chapters so these are my initial thoughts. The power scaling is quite lame, at low levels, warriors should be able to kill mages, much less high-level fighters to magical beasts. They both use mana so why are the mages so over-glorified, if being a warrior is that weak compared to mages, why would anyone consider being one? The writing style and story so far are good though, I don't find it hard to keep engaged and can imagine the scene being told adequately.

Warrior path is axctually a broken technique used by common people to survive. it will be explained by an ancient mage in the story itself . The reason warrior can't become mage is mainly because that technique injures ones soul upon using. and lastly, warriors uses raw energy 'mana' in fighting. meanwhile even an apprentice mage uses elemental energy to fight. This story also has many other pathways like Warlock, Divine pathway, and so on. If you have read fire mage, you will get what you are looking for. In that, a warrior can indeed kill a mage. note: Fire Mage is a sequel of this book.
