I read upto 265+ chapters and here's what can say about this novel :- #Very good start, volume 1 was pretty good, it was fresh very interesting world building and power system, everything was good. # Charater development was good in vol1 but here all good things end as soon as you enter volume 2 it's become trash. # no development in vol2 its just snail pace story and Mc regress, instead of become smart and calculative he becomes dumb and stupid. # most of the chapter in vol2 are unnecessary as they are just filled with trash, useless talk. # After reading vol. 2 I think author should change the name of novel from Shadow slave to Women's slave because I think the way its going he will become women's slave before shadow slave. # Very disappointed, I don't know what went wrong with author, imo he just ruined the vol2 its so slow paced + Mc becomes dumb from smart its horrifying, I believe he got subdued by girl, afterall what can you expect. It's trash I won't be continue reading it unless. The first nightmare(awakening) ends and may be if it get better after that. Untill then I recommend you to not read it if you don't want to read about how an good Mc become trash + snail like plot speed, you will find yourself skipping most chapter after vol2(they reach castle). Very disappointed.

That's nonsense. It's called "Shadow Slave" (mysterious) not "Changing Star's Simp Boy, Sunny." We don't like bait and switch, and there's no shortage of strong wamen in novels.

Sunny has been reckless and without much free will since the second nightmare. It's understandable that readers think he's becoming a simp. I'll read more before deciding that. Now quit trying to be the review police.

Changes in MC personality are logical and understandable, people change and influence each other in many subtle ways, that's why MC and Changing Star both changed. He spent several months alone and his mental state deteriorated. Human life is not only about constant progress, that's why it feels more realistic.

seeing your user name I doubt it is worth replying to you, but I just have to point out thay you should write strong fmc without having constantly clowning the mc, which for some reason seems really hard for authors to do. But then again if marvel authors are doing that I doubt web novel authors can do any better. Also, if fmc were male he would be called edgy, and anyone who likes him vigin incel. all her charctersics are despsied most of the time in male lead charcters. we just want the character we were alluded to in the early chapters. is that to much to ask?

her character is basically egdelord. you don't notice it because she fmc. she even say she wouldn't mind sacrificing all people including him lol. if anything she sounds incely, and you are so for calling that kind of charcter strong (I assume you think she is).
