It turned out better than I expected. Keep up the good work. đ
It's already been established that Nephis is his master. She's knows his name and he's literally her slave. You tell people to read the book, yet deny this basic fact. Their interests align because that's what the author wanted. It's very forced. Your walls of text are redundant and don't disprove our position.
It's been a long time since I read it. I'm not reading it again. When he fought the Carapace Centurion against his better judgement. Whatever Nephis wants becomes the best option. Typically he acts as a willing slave, and "his" goals conveniently align with hers. Like Rizky said, "If the character is forced to act a certain way, then the plot can move forward regardless of the actual personality of the character." I see no deep friendship that spurred any character development. They were together a while, but that doesn't mean anything. All he taught her was how to lie. Just read the novel title you genius. He was destined to become a slave to something. Now we know for certain what it is. Brabbit and Rizky were 100% correct.
None of my points are unfounded. Readers have the right to know that the first nightmare is misleading, and that 800 chapters in, Sunless is still whining about being weaker than Nephis because he lacks 'conviction.' I don't care why you think Nephis should be stronger. Authors can rationalize anything they want. Your explanations don't invalidate our criticism.
MC goes from one extreme to another. First he's low key, now he's dissing the top cadets..
This is very similar to Archean Eon Art, which was was a great novel until the constant power-ups. Hopefully your novel will turn out different. Good luck.
The appeal of a post-apocalyptic novel is the chaos and unpredictability. It's boring when you always know what happens next. There's no sense of adventure. Good start, but these constant system spoilers ruin it for me.
Sunny can sIit a dying man's throat without remorse, yet gets all weak in the knees when women enslave him. From mean kid from the streets to domesticated doofus. I guess that's what passes for character development. I skipped ahead and Sunny is still eating Changing Star's dust after 750+ chapters. Effie basically says that he will never surpass Nephis.
