Im honestly disappointed. Why is it so godd*nm hard for authors to stick to what makes their stories original? The human body part was completely unnecessary and overall only served to turn this into another generic cultivation novel. The systems setup was also wonky with how the points values wildly fluctuated and with how it gave rise to the possibility of the MC being capable of farming ungodly amounts of points only for the MC to never abuse said possibility. An example being how the MC could logically find a volcanoe, possess some random rock, and then have a timeskip by having the system cut his consciousness, allowing for him to have n# of points by the time he wakes up. From here you could then imagine how broken the story and its power system would be. Sadly the author has in no way explained why this was not possible and has instead opted to allow his MC to continue being a braindead drone. Essentially speaking, im dissapointed that this novel couldnt live up to its full potential due to the author opting for the pro-human route of a non-human MC novel while at the same time blatantly ignoring his stories logical fallacy.

If you continue reading the story was flushed out properly and limits were discovered. Also, remember the mc had a tragic life, so his main goal is to enjoy life. I started this just because I wanted something on the side. However, I feel like the the author started improving drastically over time and it's amazing in the later chapters imo.

A lot of virgins like me like a romantic subplot. Unless the book is godtier I won't read one without it. Therefore even if it that was not the authors objective, eventually going humanoid is the only way.

brother, not so much intelligence, but imagination and ingenuity, but the 3 are limited to those that the author has.

Please realize that for a story to be great and not criticized by readers that the author needs to address major plot holes like this quickly and not drag out giving an explanation for countless chapters. It doesnt matter to me that the logical fallacy was eventually addressed, this novel soured for me because the problem was there for all to see for atleast a hundred chapters with zero explanation which in turn disturbed my reading flow as the problem was always there, lingering in my mind and preventing my immersion.

It is like the authors are in a hivemind... all of them doing the exact same thing It is disappointing but

Then the author would have to scrap this story altogether and think up another plot idea that doesn't have an infinite-power plot hole in it. Think about it: An omnipotent MC that can do functionally anything that the system allows. The only limiter and plot provider would then be the restrictions that the system has (in which case should be close to none after seeing how often the system brags about its diversity in uses). I'm not saying your point has no merit; It's just that sometimes, we've gotta cover our plot holes with a bit of Flex Tape®. As for the rest of your remarks... Alright. I too would've preferred a non-human story that stuck to MC focusing on garnering a variety of energy-types and points through unique and differentiating methods.

It doesn't have to be with humans though. <shrug> We've seen tons of stories with intelligent/sentient non-human existences, so why can't they have relationships? Sure, most of them are prideful, like wolves and dragons, but this is a novel. Twist it. The saying "plot twist" exists for a reason.

when readers see non human mc, thats what gets their attention and thats why they want to read the novel. They don t want an mc turning human later on. I feel like these authors just use the non human trope to bait readers and then switch because they have no imagination. You can say yeah romance, relationships bla bla bla, but we didn t come here for that and the majority of the readers here didn t. We came for a non human mc and thats it .
