Steady and cautious is totally an exaggeration. He is a coward. Steady and cautious could be used if he take some risk but not an idiot who rush to it, but think properly before acting. MC is just coward. Still enjoyable to read, but this is one of the rare novel that the MC is barely likeable.

I agree with you. I quite like the MCs personality. He has a cheat, so he doesn't have to mindlessly rush into things. He doesn't need to take any risks. He is avoiding trouble (most of the time). He is being overly cautious, but in a Cultivation World, you cannot be too cautious.
