I've read both but I'm sorry but harem is extremely hard, there is no character development that can shield the irrelevance that harem brings. Harem is and always will be trash, If you find a harem that you think has good development then go read it and stop wasting people's useful time to read actually good stories. Again harem is trash, 2 wives are the max before it get's weird and inconceivable, 3 wives at most if you're really good at relationship. Real world harems don't work well no matter what and it doesn't change for harem stories.
