Review Detail of Nick_Alderson in A Time of Tigers - From Peasant to Emperor

My goals when writing this novel: Progression - my main goal for the novel has been perfect progression. I wanted to create as realistic a progression for the main character as possible, whilst still keeping the story exciting.. So far as of 60k words written, that's worked out better than I could have hoped. It will be a long road to becoming emperor, but it should be a satisfying one. Grammar - I want to aim for perfect grammar in this novel, with no mistakes at all. So far I can say that at the very least, the grammar is at an extremely high level, so it definitely won't break a reader's immersion. But I want to go higher still, and ensure that there are effectively zero mistakes in the novel. Stay tuned for how that turns out over the next couple of weeks. Characters - I want to ensure that there's as many interesting characters as possible. I want them to be balanced and I want them to be human. So far not many characters have been introduced, but the ones that have been definitely aren't boring. Still, I would like to improve this skill over the course of the book. World building - I want to create as interesting a world as possible with the fewest mistakes in lore possible. So for that I'm planning to keep track of every detail, from the economy to the ecosystem. Updates - so far I've been updating twice a day for around two weeks. I want to keep a daily release rating going for the next year at least. For updates, really, my goal is to keep having daily releases until the book is finished. I'll review how I'm getting on with my goals at 100 or 150 chapters in and give you all an update :)
