Review Detail of Connor_Fan_6728 in Abuse of Magic

I loved the magic and system. The rest of the story, not so much. A lot of the impactful scenes like someone dying or an attack on the kingdom were glossed over and never described that vividly. In the end, nothing even matters because of magic. Even the action and final battle, opponent uses X move, MC: I actually prepared for this off screen so it doesn’t work. This pattern really makes the MC a Gary Stu that can just pull any solution out of his pocket for any situation without much development. I still read through the whole story and enjoyed it, but it didn’t feel as impactful as I should’ve been.
