Your point is true, but you're also forgetting that he is human, just like those ninjas. They are trained in lying and deception, so when asked questions or just casually being talked to, their first instinct is not to hold their mouth shut and not say anything, but to weigh the pros and cons of what to say to gain the maximum benefits in information extraction and retention. So, if it was a trait of interrogation, the MC should have no problem keeping his trained mouth shut. However, it is not one, and often he is approached in a casual, normal conversation where a ninja is not as vigilant and is more worried about what to say, not what not to say at all. So, his ability makes any plan to talk directly or subconsciously have him tell the truth. Do not forget that the ability is not a bonus but a negative buff gained to counter his actual benefiting buff.

I found the author's introduction of the character's stealing habits to be both amusing and advantageous, yet I acknowledge your perspective. It appears that your focus is more on the nonchalant act of stealing rather than its underlying rationale. While the benefits to the main character may be evident in the storyline, it seems that you are emphasizing the need for the character to address the personality trait of stealing itself.

Yeah but still dangerous if done right great but if their a unknown error that would cause trouble as the villain would be stronger with less flaws that allow the heroes to defeat them.

Well, that's not even the worst part. Him revealing his changes may make people want his tech, but that's his problem that he can handle. It's just a bit more troublesome. However, with the web shooters, he is stating his relation with Spiderman and knowing who he is, smart people are going to link him to Peter or others close to him. So, this one decision not only caused him trouble but his friends too. Although I understand this may have been his only idea to delay the time for others to arrive, so giving him the benefit of the doubt is okay. But it's also his fault for not being more cautious as he ignores the plot like it has nothing to do with him unless he decides to get involved. Sadly, that's not how things work.

After delving into this novel, I found it strangely familiar, and after consuming around fifty chapters, I can confidently say that I've encountered this story on a different platform. The only noticeable distinction lies in the names, which I attribute to the common occurrence in translations. As for the storyline up to chapter fifty-four, I must admit it's quite engaging. The protagonist's quick adaptation to circumstances is commendable, although at times, the author tends to unnecessarily complicate situations. The translation quality is impressive, with a few unfamiliar names that didn't hinder my understanding of the characters. Overall, a well-executed piece of work that I wouldn't mind revisiting.

And why would I care if it is right or not? I am just correcting your previous post after taking the time to go back to an old chapter. Like I said in the more recent and old post, I have not even bothered with the video evaluation.

That's exactly my point that I've been trying to get across. I get what everyone is saying about the video and the strength evaluation made. But I'm not talking about what you all are talking about. I just posted my thoughts on the abilities and their intersection with the MC. Not the video, Gion evaluation, or anything like that. From the beginning, I said that I didn't disagree with the assessment on the video comparison but was commenting on my own interest in the ability itself. Apparently, though, every time I reply to people trying to tell them that they do not get my point, thinking I still doubt theirs when the two are not related to each other at all.

True it always the basic version of things harder to improve as they already worked over by others a lot to set the foundation for more advanced creations. That why it is easier to invent something over improving something
