and please stop with the cringe nicknames like "swan" , it makes the mc sound like an old elder from a chinese novel , it's weird , well i'm still early in the novel so i'm hoping the writing/story improves

The mc isn't my problem , my problem with the story is the women around him , how can a trained professional soldier be so terrible at everything military related ? can't deal with unexpected situations , hesitates , cry and blames herself after casualties ?

Terrible world building with repetitive plot constantly for 400 chapters. lack of individual personalities in side characters ( female leads ) and no real plot or main goal so far , All the mc does is get insulted and underestimated just to be "domineering" 2 chapters later , how is this good writing when it's done repeatedly ?

hate the fact that the mc is a manipulative a**hole for the first few chapters , i understand being traumatised but blaming innocent people for things that have nothing to do with them and seeing your faults and doing absolutely nothing to get better is just dumb , had beef with her mother for months all because she was trying to do damage control for a fight between kids ? isolating herself for months just because her mom made a choice that she didn't agree with was just plain stupid , forgetting 3 years of the care and affection her mom gave her just to act like a spoiled brat willingly for a couple of months growing a rift in the family and then when her mother finally does apologise while crying in public , all she could give is a half-a** response through gritted teeth as if she wasn't at fault aswell ? , the pacing is slow , the world building is slow but what pisses me off most is the lack of character development the mc has shown so far

It's really cringe sometimes but it's a great story otherwise , and amazing fight scenes , i just wish they'd give abbadon space to face challenges alone and grow , the family pep talks after every minor event and "family solves everything" attitude throws me off a little
