I actually really like the argument the goddess makes here it really sells her viewpoint over the past as a bored nearly jaded ego that craves pleasure and happiness and has attenpted to give it to others only to watch it be torn appart time and time again. Its a almost nihilistic veiw but a valid one, one stipped of the pretense that with great power comes great responsibility can easily be warped into where because you have the power to do great good for others that does not mean you are required to. The goddesses veiwpoint is kind of exactly what i expected from whats effectively an immortal mortal.
