31 Hatching (2)

Since we were going about the day much like normal, time passed by quickly just like normal, and we reached noon without any issue at all - all the crops were planted, watered, and pruned as best as I could manage, the fertilizer was slowly being created, and we were able to harvest whatever was ready.

All was good on the Ranch, and I knew for certain that I could get accustomed to this rhythm for a few years easily, thought I also knew that there was a slim chance it remained this carefree and stress free as it was now, since the moment I began to expand both my family and my Ranch, things would start piling up.

Bills, expenses, taxes could all be lumped together, sure, but each was paid at different times and to different people; then I needed to make sure the Ranch itself was in tiptop condition, make sure we didn't have a monster problem, make sure everyone was happy and working well, ensuring we were all well fed...

There was a lot to do, but thankfully Demi Human's were 'simple' in the regard that they all had relatively straightforwards personalities and wants; perhaps it was the portion of them that was tied to the animal, but they all had their roles and made sure to stick to it, albeit with a few quirks.

For instance, you will never see a Bullkin expressing an unparalleled desire to learn how to dance, but you might see that the Bullkin deeply desire to learn how to fight, want to get stronger, and want to have a few different women tending to their sexual needs.

They had their roles and they stuck to them because it was what made sense in their minds; Bullkin were strong and dominant, so they wanted to flex that strength and dominate the area they were in, be that by pounding the juicy ass of their sow or by patrolling 'their' land and keeping it safe.

That was what they did best, so that was what they were going to keep doing; simple was what was used to describe all Demi Human's because of this trait, but I found it really endearing and fascinating, especially since they could do those things better than we Human's ever could.

Things would start adding up the moment these eggs hatched, since the Demi Human's that came from them were going to be my responsibility to take care of, and neglecting them was a crime; they needed food, water, shelter, and a safe environment to live and work in, and if I didn't provide those, I would be fined, arrested, or if I was absolute scum and exploiting them, raping them or anything else... I could be executed.

But I wasn't going to ever do anything like that, and with the wheat growing as well as it was, I could be assured they wouldn't ever go hungry; the water crystal inside would make sure they didn't go thirsty, and the barn - whilst in slight disrepair - would keep them safe at night and provide a warm place to sleep... or they could come into the manor if they wanted.

They would likely be in the manor, especially when we got the upstairs fixed, which they could help get done in a few days when they're fully grown.

"Master, we should check the eggs now. They'll likely be ready, and if they are, we should hatch them now whilst the sun is still up and we have a few hours of day left."

Placing the last bushel of wheat inside the chest, I glanced back at Crima and nodded, getting up with some difficulty thanks to the heavy egg resting inside my womb, something that made the red Wolfkin smirk at me as she grabbed my ass and pulled me into her side.

"You look so~ sexy with my egg in your belly, Master... do you think the same~?"

The once firm and defined muscles on her stomach were no more, instead replaced with a thin covering of fat to keep her egg safe and causing those delectable abs to disappear for now, but even though I loved the glorious sight of muscles glistening with sweat as she smothered me beneath her, I...

I really loved the pregnant bump she had right now, and she knew it for damn sure since she was walking around the Ranch with a cropped top that kept her belly bare... though I guess I could also say I knew she loved my ass, so I made sure to bend over near her and entice her with it... which was why she was always coming over to rut whenever I did so.

"Um, yes... Yes I do. Um! Let's go see the eggs! I was thinking of names for them, and I was thinking Clara or Belle for the Cowkin. Lucille for the Goatskin and Hannah for the Sheepkin? Do... Do those sound good..?"

We walked together back to the barn, and I peeked at Crima's smirking face, the red Wolfkin nodding and causing me to blush with just how firm her grip was on my ass, and with how she replied "They sound excellent, and I think they'll quite appreciate their names. Usually we're left to pick on our own, y'know, or have the Demi Human parent give one. So having someone give us a name is nice, especially if it's coming from you, Master~!"

When we entered the barn and approached the Incubator, I forgot all about my embarrassment and stared at the three eggs in glee as I saw the thin hairline fractures scattering across their surfaces, whilst the shell was pulsing slightly as they tried to grow larger, only to stop themselves inside the confined, warm space of the Incubator.

The Cowkin egg and Goatkin egg were definitely ready, whilst the Sheepkin egg would definitely benefit from some more time inside the Incubator, so I instead focused my excitement on the first two as I worked the machine and turned off those two stations, before opening them up and gently lifting the eggs out, letting them feel the cool air around us and eventually rest on a clean blanket on a raised platform, with Crima and I watching over them both as they began to pulse more and more.
