Uhm, the grammar in this chapter is a bit off, present and past tenses aren't used rightly. And also, the guy's name is Christabel? Isn't that a female name? The name Christabel is primarily a female name of Spanish origin that means beautiful Christ follower. Plus, the setting is a bit rushed and I turned confused. The author jumped right into the scene without explaining the setting. I don't know if this chapter occurred in a forest or in a market place, it's confusing, author should fix this. I think I'll drop the book from here.

However, there's so much editing that's needed for the synopsis, the author needs to look into that. Honestly, I only had to read the first chapter to conclude that am turned off. So much editing needs to be carried out in this book. The author isn't using the words rightly. This is a Chinese book and the FL is answering Lousi Chen and her parents go by the name Zhao, how can she be a Chen when her parents bear Zhao? It's boring and the reaction of the FL is not intriguing at all. It gives no vibe of a typical Chinese book. Author should work on this work all over.

I wonder when the reason behind their hatred would be revealed...
