10 Most Treasured.

"We could exchange contacts, it'll then be possible to reach you when I have the money to pay back?"

Jesy looked at him without removing her eyes for even a brief moment, she could see now that his face had gone back to being blank and unreadable, she couldn't know what was running in his head now that it had gone back to being blank.

Minutes passed by but there was no reply from the latter, Jesy was beginning to feel uneasy and she wondered if she sounded stupid for asking such request from a person like him but it wasn't that she had any choice left, there was no other way and she didn't want to go without paying for the damage.

Jesy was already feeling like those pretentious women who used underlying methods just to get hooked up with rich men, it sounded absurd but that was the truth, she watched lots of movies like that. But she had no other reason to have his contact info, she only needed it for it was the only way to pay him back.

But she was already thinking about withdrawing the idea of exchanging contact info, he was rich right? He could easily repair his car, it wasn't that much of a damage, so why worry? Maybe it's best to just forget about exchanging contact with him, she didn't wanted to look like those pretentious women that only wanted to get hooked up with rich men.

"Alright then, I feel this is so unnecessary, right? You could always get your car fixed, it won't even cost you a fortune. Let's just forget about what happened today and move back to our daily lives like we never met each other be….."

But her long speech was cut short when a white and brown thick small card was shoved into her palm, she was confused and gave Trevor a puzzled look. It wasn't even because of his sudden movement that got her, but because of our cold his hands felt when he held her hand to give her the card, it was an electrifying feeling, his palm were cold in contrast to her warm ones, and what was he giving her? A card for what?

"Sorry, but what's this for?"

She asked him with her eyes looking down towards her hands that were holding the card, it was his contact card?

Jesy could perceive his manly smell due to how close they already stood without her notice, she didn't know when they already stood close to each other.

Trevor already knew what was going on in her head, and when she was just about to tell him to not bother about exchanging their contacts, he immediately brought out his contact card and pushed it into her hands before she could complete her sentence. The card he gave her contained his personal contact information, only a very few people had that in their possession, and he felt he should give her his private contact than his business contact.

"You asked for an exchange of contact info and I gave mine, so it your turn to give me your contact info."

Trevor had a sly smile hidden behind his black mask,

Jesy made an 'oh' inwardly, so he meant business after all, she sighed before replying back.

"I don't think there's any need for me to give you my contact info, yours is good enough. When I have the money, I'll just call you."

Trevor smirked, she was smart after all, not bad.

"I could change my mind, if that happens, how do I reach you?"

Jesy looked at his eyes and sighed again, she knew it was useless to argue with him, he was so bent of having her contact information too. Jesy did not bother to think too much about it. She walked back to her old fashioned car, opened it and brought out a small note, she scribbled something on it, her fingers holding the pen moved so smooth and fast on the note, she tore out a piece of the paper and walked back to him, and without saying a word, she pushed the paper into his hands and when their fingers made contact, she felt that electrifying feeling again. Without saying a thing, she walked back to her car after making sure he had the paper securely in his hands. Jesy entered her car and sped away without bothering to look back.

Trevor's eyes lingered on the moving car, and he looked back at his own hands that held the paper in them, what he was thinking about was hard to guess. Minutes went by with ticking seconds before he finally entered his car and also drove off in an opposite direction.

Inside a hospital.

Inside a hospital room, a woman laid on the hospital bed with another sitting beside her, her face was so pale and her neck had a shade of purple, a sign of brushes on them due to the squeezing impact Jesy had on her. The neck was slightly swollen and Lexi had a grim expression on her face, she was evidently angered and was looking for what to vent her anger on, but unfortunately, there was nothing and she couldn't vent it because of the pain she was feeling in her neck.

Lydia wasn't far from having the same feeling as Lexi, she wanted to so beat up Jesy to pulp for what she did. She never for one day thought that Jesy could be so crazy, she remembered everything so clearly, she remembered the look on Jesy, it was so inhumane and the thought of it brought cold shivers down her spine, she was evidently shaken but that would never stop her from revenging for herself and Lexi.

Last night, Josh was the person who drove them to the hospital and he left because he had something to urgently attend to, that was what he told them. Lydia already called Lexi's parents and told them about the situation and of course, they sided with their most treasured daughter and they were already on their way here to the hospital.

Lydia already knew about the busy schedule of Lexi's parents, she knew they must have returned home very late last night and must have thought that both Jesy and Lexi were already asleep, that was why they didn't know of the situation earlier and they also left for work very early and also thought that both Jesy and Lexi weren't awake yet.
