He might... but the creators of 682 and 96 made them out to be able to adapt anything. He (author) can kill them off for sure but it would go against the hype they have gathered.

To be Honest I picture IMU as being without a devil fruit, utilizing haki, Rokushiki, and physical strength only. Perhaps even relying on the power of the sea, as many have theorized that Imu or Umi could be the sea as Umi=sea

You know interestingly enough, some fans think that conqueror's coating isn't advanced conqueror's haki, since it was never explecitly confirmed by Oda. Nevertheless, wonder what your opinion is.

Even then, it's not like my vision was that great; it's like I was looking through a filter that turned everything a deep shade of red; it completely fucked up my depth perception. However, I could thankfully still see somewhat since, besides my nose, my other senses were useless, except my observation haki, of course.

In OP no one is strong enough to fight and defeat the 3 admirals at the same time all by themselves. At least not yet. Not even Whitebeard or Roger, or the emperors can do so.
