I won't change my writing style no matter what and I think it's fairly obvious the next thing is that there was no action in chapters 3-8 they were filled with only dialogues tbh ....

The writing quality is really good and so is the vocab, the pacing feels decent and if you like this genre then this is the book you are looking for

I feel where you are coming from but there is no character development possible when the story has just started. yes POV jumping can get a bit frustrating but it will help in the 'character development' of the side characters later on

The author here does a fairly good job of portraying the emotions felt by the protagonist, yes the writing may seem a little crude at first but it keeps on improving as the story goes on
