Lacking in substance and enough magic to capture the audience enough for me to read further. The quality of this novel is passable if you are looking to waste time but has no further accomplishments for it to be rememberable. Makes fatal mistakes an author shouldn’t do in progression fantasy causing the world in the MC to lose the magic a novel like this should have. 1# Lists all the ranks in the first chapter. The sense of mystery and accomplishment is gone. Now the ranks are simply an arythmetic a random person wrote in an order of 1-10. Doesn’t feel real, doesn’t feel plausible and doesn’t make me believe, therefore I don’t care. #2 Skips four ranks in the first five chapters. Makes the readers believe that reaching these ranks are nothing special. Doesn’t further elaborate on the differences and the scale this ranks mean on a world like this. Botches the world building, botches the readers immersion, and further distances the readers from their wallets to give this guy golden tickets. #3 Boring cultivation technique that offers no explanations whatsoever. Along with a brand new physique that doesn’t match up with the cultivation technique. Also doesn’t explain well how the cultivation techniques and the martial/ spells work under the new circumstances. #4 Author doesn’t establish the roots of his skills, doesn’t describe the said skills well. For example, his skill Phantom Steps - we’ve heard of it before and the author thinks that is sufficient for the reader and describes no further than the name. Adding a lore for it or what it does would be helpful but no. This also further ruins the mediocre story by adding an infinite number of skills where mc has no specialization. One second he’s a grandmaster alchemist, one second he’s a grandmaster array expert. Along with his infinite number of demon duties. Further maximizing the lack of interest with mc’s abilities since it could be whatever the author is feeling that day. #5 World building jumps too fast. LOTM has long boring world building but that makes it so that the story is solid and we follow along the next 100 chapters. This is like jumping through a different world and already planning out schemes and war to read the readers confused and lost on the first 10 chapters.

If you are pooking for something cool, definitely this. Cool mc, cool powers, not too op system but op enough. Nice interactions. The way he handles his fights are cool especially when he leaves the academy for vacation it’s like my perfect ideal mc skill sets that i very rarely see. Coolcool cool.

King of contradictions. My blood boils at how much I hate this book. Shitty romance. I was about to rate this one a four star based on my enjoyment levels. But recounting the romance they have been nothing but shit. The only one that im slightly interested in is the fae, the rest can go to hell and drown. Nothing but burdens. They are also a plot stieerer to make mc lose his mind. In the latest chapters author clearly states the being in the 9th heaven was looking for him, and time and space doesnt matter to them. The only thing hiding his founding dao is the universe itself. Now he reveals it to the world where he is supposed to BECAUSE OF A WOMAN THAT WAS FORCED UPON HIM. No one is even threatening his woman he is just insulting her and it’s not even his woman. All the plot is wrong and doesnt make sense and its very visible that the author just wanted and excuse for the mc to reveal ALL HIS TRUMP CARDS FOR A SHOUTING MATCH. NOT EVEN A LIFE AND DEATH MATCH FOR A SHOUTING MATCH THAT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH HIM. ALL HIS WOMEN ARE THE DOWNSIDES OF THIS NOVEL. THEY ARE THE DRIVING FORCE STEERING THIS NOVEL INTO A DUMPSTER. FUCK THIS MC

I hate system that kill mc if they do not fulfill system missions. Especially SIDE MISSIONS with no relevance to the plot at all. Jesus. Get a certain herb, if you do not get a herb you die. ???? Forced plot, empty cultivation realms, stupid MC sharing he’s from earth the moment he could talk, so many icks through out the book, the author doesnt know how to make an enjoyable voyage, all characters are girls, all villains are boys, overall very elementary writing. Is this fanfic? Cause this reads as fan fic. Author writes as things were already “a matter of fact.” No introduction, no explanations, just get into it. The only one who would probably understand this is if you were in the army, a mechanic, and a mecha fanboy that watches and reads different mecha media all at once. World building choices are weird and the narration style story is pretty isolating. Character is lacking a lot. Information drops leaves a lot to be desired. Settings are left out I would appreciate metrics for dimensions in a lot of stuff, where are they fighting in and why is there a random cargo box there. Almost no descriptions for things MC literally went into a mecha without any descriptions but a random side character got full description of what his mecha is. Author needs better choices for what he describes in the novel. Too many time skip. The author tells us what the character is but almost never shows us. There are like 3 actual conversations in the first thirty chapters on the MC. Confusing confusing confusing is all I can say.

Basically a 4.5 star novel that derails itself midway and crashes to oblivion. This novel is a waste of time. The novel insist upon itself and thats takes down the quality of the novel a lot. Even though the father knows any action he does will inevitably speed up earths demise, he shackled his son with ineptness. Nothing makes sense, we were given half assed answers that the author probably made up on the fly so his novel could sound more mysterious. The author can do a lot of things and I liked a lot of things in this novel but his mysteries are the worst part of it. To much foreshadowing, too much fate shit but the author doesnt know how to navigate it at all. It’s justa bunch of repetetive shit at this point. The foreshadowing has been probably repeated 10times now and I can assure you the author giggles himsef to death on how brilliant he thinks he is but it just ends up looking trashy and desperate on paper. He literally wrote a 2 chapter backround story for someone who the mc will probably fight in the next 1000 chapters. I dont care really. Instead of building outside of itself, it builds in and overcomplicates the story. The thing with Kai further ruins it because instead of a smart mc who controls everything around him. We get a dumbass who is controlled by everyone around him which is the opposite of what i want as the mc. So now if you continue to read from chapter 300, you just look up. Look up from the mysteries from down below, you look up from the power levels from mortality. Mind you be is still silver at chapter 300. Instead of being immersed by the story you are forced to tilt your head up to fate and stress about the future and somehow how the mc triumphs against future challenges. Another annoying part of the book is how the author insist on Nero having plot armor yet never showing it once. Nero only ever used his gifts as plot armor, nothing lucky, nothing bullshit ever happened to him. His existence is a plot armor which eliminates it to be plot armor and itself and points to characterization as the problem. The author doesnt even know what plot armor is! JFC. I hate stories ruined by complexity. Yes there are authors that could handle it like Gu Zhen ren and stuff but you could basically read the author drowning in his work. Were living through mollasess in chapter 300 and its a lot to be more PLOTHOLEY. I hate wasted works like this.
