Heni924mthPostedThis was one of the better, well-written stories I’ve read here. I really liked that the writer focused on quality rather than quantity with a normal amount of chapters. The world-building was great, and there was character development. The pacing was perfect. I will say that Casey, the FMC, is not one of my favorites. She was too uptight, irritating, and a bit immature when it came to the opposite sex. But she knew her faults, the areas she needed to work on, and why she was that way. The author did a good job explaining her background, and I gained a better understanding of her. By the end of the story, I found myself liking her more. I do wish we learned more about her mother.

I feel like she needs to take a deep breath, accept that she can't control everything, and go with the flow (within reason) because she is about to give herself a heart attack with how uptight and stressed she is.
