What is he up too?

"What are you up to?" Eden asked Sol as they waited downstairs in the foyer of the Sunflower building. The foyer was a lot bigger than the one in the main building. With a sunflower design on the main floor. With a long green carpet leading to the stairway.

When Abidemi and Sol returned. They were surprised to find that Eden was there waiting for them in his old room. The servants were extremely happy to see him and had set everything up for him. Abidemi was extremely happy as well and went over to hug her little brother. Then she told Eden that Freya invited her and Burning Sol for dinner which made the younger man sigh.

Eden had gotten dressed in a white shirt with a dark gray jacket with some pants and boots. He was fixing up his gloved hands as he looked at the masked man with a flat expression.

Sol laughed as Eden frowned deeply at him. "No worries. I won't cause any trouble for you or for Demi."

"But you'll cause someone trouble." Eden said flatly. Sol only laughed as Eden let out a long sigh. He looked up at the stairs as he waited for Abidemi. "What is Mother thinking?"

Sol frowned deeply. " What makes you think she's up to something?"

Eden sighed. " She never really cared for what Demi does. Unless Mila was involved, Demi had always been nothing but forethought to her,"

"Maybe you should ask her about it." Sol said casually as his eyes looked at the top of the stairs. "Maybe at dinner."

"Mmmm. I'll do that." Eden said as he looked up the stairs as well.

In a few seconds, Abidemi finally came downstairs in a light blue dress with red designs on the skirt. The hem of the dress covered her feet as it flowed when she walked. She also had a red shawl around her shoulders as Shyla and Kanene followed close behind her. The fire-red rose was still in her hair as Abidemi wore an exhausted expression on her face.

Sol swallowed heavily. It didn't go on unnoticed by Eden who just smiled at the older man.

"When was the last time I had dinner at the main building again?" Abidemi asked one of her maids as she made it to the last stair.

"I think it was six or maybe seven months ago. All I knew was that the crown prince of Valtis was there." Shyla said while she tied Abidemi's hair in a red bow. It was in a low ponytail to keep it in place. "Also Lord Logan as well."

"Ah. Yes. The night where everyone ignored me but Eden." Abidemi muttered.

"Everyone ignored you?" Sol asked. He was suddenly outraged as Abidemi sighed.

She placed a hand on Sol's shoulder. "Relax. It was just fine. I had Eden to keep me company. Seriously, if I knew you were gonna act that way, I wouldn't have said anything."

"Well, it's true, sister. They did treat you like air." Eden said to her. Abidemi sighed.

"What are the chances they're going to ignore me tonight?" Abidemi asked Eden.

Eden, Abidemi, Shyla, and Kanene looked at Sol who was watching them curiously. They looked at his black hair, his clothes, his expression, and finally his mask.

They all sighed.

"I think the chances of you being ignored are pretty low, my lady." Kanene said with a small smile. Shyla nodded her head as Eden just rubbed the bridge of his nose.

Abidemi frowned deeply. "The crown prince of Elov is going to be there. I don't think they would pay attention to the masked man at the dinner table."

Shyla and Kanene looked at each other and then looked at Sol.

Sol placed a hand over his heart as he looked at Abidemi mournfully. " Demi. Are you saying that a prince is much more interesting than I am?"

Abidemi rolled her eyes as she smirked at him. "I didn't say that and you know it. I just said that my father, stepmother, and stepsister will rather gush over him than pay attention to you."

"If he comes downstairs at all." Eden said while he crossed his arms. Abidemi looked over to Eden. "Prince Akeem rather eat alone in his room than dine with the rest of the family."

"Yet he's more than willing to talk business with Father." Abidemi pointed out. Eden shrugged his shoulders

" He is an odd prince." Eden said while he looked at Sol with a blank expression. Sol blinked when Eden's eyes narrowed at him. " I heard that he does many things that are odd."

"Here I thought he was just a lazy prince that just disappears at random."Abidemi said with a shrug. She sighed. "I was actually kinda hoping to see what he looks like." Sol blinked as he noticed Abidemi's curious face.

Eden shrugged."I don't think it's something you should worry about, Demi." He held out his arm as he smiled at his sister warmly. Abidemi smiled and lightly grabbed it. "Besides you have me and Sol. You really shouldn't think of another man with us around."

Abidemi laughed. Sol also held out his arm as she gently took it. "Thank you. The both of you are so kind."

"Welcome." Eden and Sol said at the same time.

Abidemi looked over to Kanene and Shyla with a warm smile. "Don't stay up for me, okay." she told them. Kanene and Shyla nodded their heads before waving goodbye to her maids.

They watched as the three left the house. After a few minutes, Kanene and Shyla let out a long sigh. "He's up to something. I could just feel it." Shyla groaned.

"Well, you know our Prince. He always likes to make a mess of things. With the information, that he knows about the Sealen Household he just might be holding a ticking time bomb." Kanene said with a deep frown.

"Will he use it?" Shyla asked. Kanene only shrugged her shoulders. "And the Duke. He's going to know it the moment Sol walks in the house."

"Of course he is. Master Eden figured out it was Akeem. I won't be surprised if The Duke found out too." Kanene said.

Shyla looked at Kanene. "Seriously?!" Kanene nodded her head as Shyla groaned. "How do you know?"

"He told me." Kanene said while she went upstairs.

Shyla groaned as she followed Kanene. "Seriously. This damn crown prince." she muttered.

-------

The Duke of Sealen nearly choked on his saliva when saw a disguised Prince Akeem walking into the mansion with Eden and Abidemi. The smile on that masked prince's face annoyed The Duke as the other man looked Abidemi lovingly. Abidemi also looked at him, a warm smile gracing her face. Her eyes also held a warmth that made The Duke swallow.

' This damned prince already has her heart.' The Duke thought as he bit his tongue.

"Sister. Who is this?" Mila called out.

The Duke looked beside him to see that Freya, Mila, and Logan were beside him. All of them had different expressions on their faces. Freya was pressing her lips together. Mila looked almost surprised to see that Abidemi was with someone. Logan looked as if he was going to blow his top.

Abidemi looked over to see Mila and smiled at her. Her smile was pleasant as always as she removed her hand from the masked man's arm. "Oh." she looked back to her masked companion. "This is Burning Sol. He's an old friend I know back in Elov."

"Nice to meet you." 'Sol' said with a bow. Mila covered her mouth as if to keep herself from smiling. Sol stood up and smiled at them. "Thank you for having me."

"Oh. It's no problem at all." Mila said as she stepped forward. She looked as if she was going to reach for Sol's arm but he quickly moved it. Mila blinked before frowning.

"I'm sorry, Lady Mila. I don't usually let strangers touch me." Sol said with a smile.

Mila pouted at him. "But you let Abidemi touch you."

Sol hummed as he looked at Abidemi. Abidemi blinked at him before smiling at him in return. "That's because Demi isn't a stranger. She is someone very special." He took her hand and kissed it. His dark eyes looked into her blue as Abidemi just smiled at her. "Isn't that right, my dear sweet Demi."

Mila's eyes widened from the interaction as Logan's mouth was agape. Freya swallowed heavily as she looked at her husband who just looked exhausted.

Abidemi let out a sigh and shook her head. "You are being too much Sol."

"Only for you." Sol said to her. Abidemi rolled her eyes. She pulled her hand away and placed it on her side. "Demi." he said with a pout.

"Demi. You let him call you Demi." Logan asked in quiet tone. Abidemi sighed and looked at Logan.

"I always let people who're close to me call me Demi." Abidemi said to him. Logan twisted his jaw. Abidemi sighed before looking at Sol who reached for her hand again. Logan looked as if he'll yell.

Eden cleared his throat, gaining the attention of everyone in the room. The heir of the household smiled at them. "Shouldn't we head to the sitting area until they call us for dinner?"

"Ah. Yes, we can't just stand around all night." The Duke of Sealen said as he started to lead them to a room. He looked at Sol, his gaze was cold which only made Sol smile at him. "And I would like to know how you met my daughter."

Sol nodded as he followed The Duke. "Oh. I'm more than happy to tell you, your grace."

Mila and Freya quickly followed after them as Abidemi and Eden just watched their father oddly. "What's wrong with Father?" Abidemi asked. Eden shrugged his shoulders.

"He'll get over it." Eden said as he followed after them.

Abidemi sighed and followed them until she felt someone grab her hand. She looked up to see Logan glaring at her. She frowned deeply at him as she tried to move her hand but he wouldn't budge. Sighing. She glared at him. "Logan. Let go."

"Where did you find that guy?" Logan asked her. His dark blue eyes were glowing which was making her uncomfortable. "What's all this Demi crap?!"

"He's a friend that I met at Elov. I've known him for fifteen years. Therefore, he has every right to call me Demi." Abidemi said. Logan blinked in surprise. Abidemi quickly took her hand away and held it to her chest. She glared at him. "Honestly Lord Logan, you should really know how to control your temper."

Abidemi turned to leave as Logan quickly snapped out of it. He was going after her but stopped when Eden stood in the way. "Eden. Move."

"Try to behave yourself in front of Mr.Sol. Don't grab my sister or try to speak to her. He doesn't like it when people push their boundaries." Eden said darkly. Logan snarled at Eden.

" What can that guy do?" Logan asked.

"Far worse than what I will do if I catch you touching my sister like that again." Eden said darkly. Logan's eyes narrowed.

"Just because you're the heir to this house. Doesn't mean you get to call the shots." Logan growled.

"I do know that the Sealen family can destroy you in a flash." Eden said darkly. Logan clenched his teeth. "Touch Abidemi like that again. Just try it."

Logan frowned as Eden left for the sitting room.

The next chapter is the sitting room.
