I could go visit the imperial city and then run away from there. I could say I wanted to do some shopping in the city which no one would bat an eye to, and I could then I could slip away from the entourage that would be accompanying me. Why hadn't I thought of that earlier? Rather than evading multiple guards and sneaking out of the estate, it would be so much easier to disappear in the large crowds of the Imperial city. I could then quickly find a carriage to take me anywhere else in the empire. By the time a search party was sent after me, I would be miles away from the city. - ikram_mri_26424mthCommented
