I honestly gave this a chance. I have read about 150+ chapters so far, but I don't think I can continue on. This novel had really good romance and good r18 scenes. I enjoyed the romance and his relationship with Nadia and the other wives but the poor writing for the apocalypse stuff is a big negative of this novel. The writing is so confusing. I had very hard time picturing what the author was trying to portray. The author goes straights to the action without painting the picture of the setting first, like what happened during the first arc. The author failed to properly lay out the setting of the school, so when the mc was doing things related to the setting, it only ended up confusing the readers. Some scenes were like all over the place that I just can't follow what is happening anymore. Then there is also the fact that the author tends to be redundant: a character says this then another character says it again, feels like the author is only dragging things out to increase word count. Characterization is also flawed. Daria and Leila were portrayed to have this personality, only for it to become the total opposite later on. The main wife Nadia also had this flawed characterization. At the first, you would have an idea that her morals were already thrown out of the window pretty early on, but then the author decides to give her morals back at later chap to the point of even arguing with the mc. She would be the last one among his wives to question his decision and have an argument with him when all this time she supported the mc even if he was wrong or did questionable stuff. I am just a bit irritated since I like her character a lot but the author isn't giving her proper justice with the poor writing. In short the characterization is all over the place. They would have this personality at first then later on that personality changes a little. This not only happens with the wives but almost all characters including the mc. The author really needs to improve his world building and properly laying out the setting. I continued to 150+ just to see if this aspect would improve but it did not, and I cant bear with it anymore. This was good concept and the romance were really good, something the author was really good at. I enjoyed the romance aspect so much, but the action, world building, way of portrayal of the setting is ticking me off. Since this is majorly action, the negatives outweighed the positives thus my reason for not being able to continue on.

I am having the same thoughts. feels like the auhtor is just playing with our feelings. They bait us with this character and make us like her, only to say SIKE later on and end up chosing another girl.

First of all, everything for me is good (except for a couple of things). In fact this novel is quite amazing in itself. I like it a lot. The war strategies, the politics, and etc. are all really good. I believe feedback is important. I have tried writing on another account, and I know how precious information from the readers can help. So, I'll take this chance to give my impressions on each of the mc's partners/potential partners. Hopefully, the author could read this and take it into account when writing the romance aspect of the novel. (Note: This is based on first 201 chapter only, any chapters further were not considered as I have yet to read them) Cambyses (Daughter of the Mercenary group leader) - My first impression of her is very nice. Her conversations, dynamic, and chemistry with the MC is really good. She has one of the deepest connection or love towards the mc. Her and the MC's relationship is very genuine which I absolutely love. Furthermore, I also like the fact that she has a role and not simply a trophy lover, I do look forward to more this. Mean (Slave of Cambyses) - Her banters and mc teasing her is fun to read. The relationship between the MC, Her, and Cambyses is a very good one. Its refreshing to see such cordial relationship for once. The chemistry between these three is something I just could not get enough of. Ophenia (The runaway Priestess and daughter of the enemy General) - She has a cute personality despite her tragic past. If you read the her past, you might dislike her (or not) but the author did good job with making her likeable enough to disregard that shameful past (enough to make me really like her along with Cam and Mean) Gelene (Previous toy slave of the mercenary) - Not a fan of her. She's manipulative snake. The way she tried to provoke Cambyses (one of my fav) pretty much ruined my impression of her. She thinks like a backstabber, and their is a high chance that she will sabotage the other females and backstab the mc. I don't really like this. I believe that you shouldn't take a backstabber or someone who would harm your loved ones as part of the harem. Plus she's the type to use s** favors with any men to get what she wants. Azira & Azura - They hate the mc (understandable). But the way they try to show that hate is really cute that I just cant take the threat seriously. They have potential, and I already like them quite a bit. I wanna see how the author plans to turn this hate into love (if he did plan to in the first place, but I hope he did). Mikaya, Seelima, Farzah - I hate these womens. If you have read those chapters, you would def understand what I mean. These women likes to have fun with multiple guys and doing the deed with them at the same time. I dont like it at all. Reading those chap was a pain. Among all the women, these three I hope will have nothing to do with the mc's harem. Their personality and their concept of 'fun' along with those painful chaps made my impression of them absolute rock bottom. I just hope the author doesn't plan on adding these womens. Hellma - She is related to those three above, but I don't know if she is also into the same thing as those three. So for now my impression of her is on positive neutral. She seem to have that icy princess type of persona with how she treats the mc (understandable given what the mc did). As long as she isn't into those things like the three above, then I can see myself liking her a lot in the future (depending on the how the author treats her character). Tbh, I hope the author treats her character well, I can see some potential in her character. As a side note. I noticed that recently, the author has been focusing the r18 on those three cursed women more instead of the mc's true lovers. I dont really like reading r18 on those three women (Mikaya, Seelima, Farzah). If it were with Cambyses, Mean, or Ophenia, then it would be a different matter. The mc has a good relationship with these womens so any r18 with them is a fun and exciting read. While any r18 on those cursed women is a painful read (to the point that I just gloss over them). and that's all for me! Thanks for taking the time to read!

its stupid to build and develop a character only for you to leave them and dispose of them like some sort of trash. Author should have not developed them in the first place, if you don't want readers going into outrage and dropping this novel in a beat.
