That is not recommended at all before the age of ten, children can literally die from trying too hard. The most optimal period for physical development is adolescence, where the period of natural growth of the body helps the development of muscles.

Wellp, it's a crossover with an anime, the protagonist needs a special characteristic that stands out from the rest. At least he doesn't have unrealistically colored hair.

This is so edgy, but it's forgivable since he was a teenager when he died...and we all know what teenagers are like during that time.
