it sad how things like this have become relatable rather then something extreme which rarely happens.

yeah I know the story is been good thus far, to me when ever a character that is this young or that I think is redeemable often looks like a loss of potential even if the I logically know that characters die all the time in all types of stories. its a bias that I can admit because as an person there are only so many things you can keep track of given that this story is meant to be multiverse based there can be too many things to keep track of and death is the simplest way to remove someone.
