Let me start by saying that this is definitely one of the more quality novels on this site. It has suberb world building, very entertaining action and the power creep is essentially addictive. You'll find yourself always coming back for more. That said, I think the character development is the weak point in the story. We follow an immature spoilt MC from one of the richest families on Earth on his journey to become the strongest in the Universe. While he does get stronger over time, he never loses his immature spoilt rich kid streak. He's your typical hypocrite overbearing MC that never sees what's wrong with his actions until it's too late, then throws a tantrum. He's capable of being serious, a great leader and he's mischievious most of the story, which makes for nice comedic relief. The problem is that he grows emotionally unstable with age. Every loss he takes chips away at his soul until he's frankly just the most annoying character of the story by the the latest chapters. Still, it's a fun read. I'm just venting a bit, don't let that sway you from giving it a try.
What are the chances that the "Wilderths" that his master has shown him as the strongest bloodline are just him and his people after living in a neutron star for a while? It would technically have everything from radiation to metal considering that their gravitational field keeps pulling asteroids/planets/planetoids to it, and considering only the strongest substances wouldn't burn up from the heat and pressure of the surface it's basically a 5 star buffet powergrind for Kintharians at it's core.
MC has only been sent by the army to environments he can manage. There'd be no point sending him to his death. The strong on Nitis were pretty hands off, only appearing to stop the extinction of their race and the couple wars he fought the ennemies were weak enough that the army didn't need to deploy their elites. There were a handful of tier 3 and a tier 4 to date I think. Nitis Elder was probably evolved.
It's nothing new. Fantasy world reincarnation with your usual sidekick banter. It's a fun read but inconsistent when it comes to power levels and pacing. No masterpiece here. It ended just when it was finally taking off, author has dropped it without a word. Sidenote: Traveling to different Planes as well as different planets has a lot of potential in world building. Time passing differently, potential new powers to encounter besides magic, introducing civilizations that chose different paths of progress (e.g. advanced tech, nature, faith, bioengineering, getting rid of physical bodies, etc.) as well as some that fell, etc. Feels like a waste that Plane Traveling is only done to escape or get resources.
Mysterious beings granting free power ups again. Zach is a Magus that has received the best treatment from his faction and the Academy from the start. He also has one of the strongest bloodlines to date and obviously has been trained to make the most of it. It's believable that being 2v1 against Commander Bug Guy with the Nephilim they'd hold on minutes against a Grand Magus. Emery is barely halfway to Magus and doesn't have anywhere near the same amount of training or knowledge as he's from a lower world. He only has a literal kid tree that he was given by Mysterious Plant Mage Guy with the instruction manual and a lazy writing boost from Butterfly Family. If he doesn't lose it makes absolutely no sense storywise. Let's not even get started with Emery's ever increasing talent.
He better lose this fight and get hurt badly. He's not yet a Magus but can fight a Grand Magus? That's just ridiculous. How many levels are left for his Divine Dao Technique? He still only knows the basics of alchemy and formations and barely made his new fighting technique. He doesn't even understand the origins of his bloodline nor master it. The story relies way too much on mysterious beings granting free power ups. The secondary characters with the support of their multigalactic civilizations/factions aren't even close to him and they had incomparably better starts. It's getting boring.
