The only real difference between hot and cold showers is skin health. Hot showers can dry out your skin and dilate pores, which increases the chance for whiteheads and blackheads (pimples/zits). Cold showers tighten skin and contracts pores, which is better after a workout. You won’t see any therapeutic effects unless you use much colder water like an ice bath.
