The abilities of Lust and the Virtues

I gave Idun one last kiss before teleporting to Kamar-Taj where a voice then began to seep into my consciousness.

`Thankfully you haven't indulged the beast too much my child.`

The voice was as soft as silk and and sickly sweet as a toffee Apple at a fare. I could feel a few sorcerers glance in my direction before turning back to their activities. With the voice in my head i felt as if i was slowly starting to accumulate mental issues.

`Now that i am out we can finally be in balance... I know it may be difficult my child but you need to gain another two sins as we are currently out of balance. Know that any Virtue or Sin you gain will grant you an ability once fully awoken. Now that your virtues have awoken the true power of them and lust will be unlocked. I will go now, please keep in mind my words and try your best not to indulge the beast too much.`

Her voice was sickly smooth as she slowly began to fade in volume, her words hanging on the metaphorical air as i waited for more but received nothing else.

'Sis, did that really just occur without you being able to tell?'

[U-um i have nothing to say, that was my mistake...]

'Huu, anyway, could you please confirm that angel lady has just said?'

[Tooth For a Tooth: Anyone who lies in your presence will suffer pain or any other emotion that you wish to give them. You know when people are lying and when they are being truthful. When someone makes an oath in front of you they are now held to that Oath, if they abandon or fail to follow the oath they made then they will suffer equivalent consequences to the level of Oath. You gain a halo that will combine with other Virtues and Sins, this Halo, when used, amplifies these abilities.]

[Kindness Aura: Any kindness done around you out to the distance of 1km will strengthen your Virtue. You can detect the inner nature of people and determine if they have kindness in their soul. When someone does a kind act in front of you, you can bless them temporarily, giving them a small stat boost. Your Kindness is blistering, people will naturally have a good impression of you, making it easier for you to gain their trust (This depends on the power level of the person). You gain a halo that will combine with other Virtues and Sins, this Halo, when used, amplifies these abilities.]

[Hope benediction: Hope is the direction of the future, as such, through the hopes and dreams of people around you, you can influence the space around you for several meters to exemplify these hopes and dreams. Allows access to the weave of fate, granting slight glimpses into possible futures. This ability also allows you to contact God. You gain a halo that will combine with other Virtues and Sins, this Halo, when used, amplifies these abilities.]

[Lustful Awakening: Lust is the start and end of existence as all life exists to procreate and spread their genes. You have an amazing Charisma that affects anyone not of a sufficient level to resist. Grants the ability to change genders. You have formed a connection to the *DOMAIN* of LUST, you now have access to ascension. You gain a halo that will combine with other Virtues and Sins, this Halo, when used, amplifies these abilities.]

Within the next few seconds as my Sis was busily working towards finishing up the report on my stats and such i felt a slithering sensation on my skin. Looking down i noticed a snake of pure obsidian scales and glowing purple eyes slithering along my right hand. I freaked out internally whilst saying completely silent on the outside. The snake slithered more and more until it raised its fangs, faster than i could respond, and bit down. The beating of my own heart amplified as i watched in horror as the snake, as if it were a dimensionally shifting thing, became a 2D tattoo on my right arm. When the squirming and beating of my own heart stabilized i saw a heavily detailed Ouroboros made of pure onyx black and shimmering every now and then with a purple light.

A few hours later, within the bedroom given to me by Yao...

'I am becoming the manifestation of the sins and virtues... That's crazy, i kind of like it... Wait doesn't this also mean that I will be even scarier to be in a relationship with!? What if i affect people without wanting to, like Idun?'

[Stop worrying, you are immortal and have Virtues and Sins to support you. You can now sense emotions much better then before, so you could potentially stop problems.]

'Good points, i had considered them but it is nice hearing it from someone other than myself... Now, i need to get the rest of the sins and virtues so that i could have the full collection, ehehe, i wonder what power i could gain when that occurs. Watch out Slaanesh, I'm coming to kill you...'

The room started to get hotter and hotter before slowly settling down.

'Okay, i got it, don't say names of biblical figures, they may just notice... FFS'

I stood up and made my way out of the room. I had noticed a large change since my Virtues and Sins awoke, i could now feel every emotion seeping into the surrounding space, much more than what Psychic abilities could gather passively. There was the change in my wings as well, they had now split in half, with one side being completely made of lighter more bright colours and the other onyx black with crimson, orange and lava colours. The biggest change was the Halo that would manifest when i took out my wings. It wasn't the traditional halo from shows or anything, it more resembled an aura of sorts as it formed into a spinning disk of symbols and patterns that gathered in the middle to form an angelic wing and a bat-like wing. I figured that this represented my balance as a Nephilim and the powers over the Virtues and Sins i had. There were symbols on the outer edges of the disk that represented my Sins and Virtues. Greed was a bad of money. Lust was the figure of a woman. Honesty was the image of two hands clasping together. Kindness was the image of someone helping someone up. Hope was the weirdest as it had a Yin and Yang symbol.

I felt as if something was different about hope but i couldn't be sure so i tossed it up to not knowing enough about the Virtues or Sins.

'Time to go see Illyana and explain this mess to her...'
