2 2. The First Main Quest
The next day Sico gets up from his sleep for his first day at school after taking a shower and eating breakfast his mom made, Sico slowly goes his way to the school, and on the way he meets the Twins who are just on the way to class. When they reached the class, they took a seat at the back and Sico saw at least there are 30 pairs of chairs and tables for the students and 1 pair of chairs and table for the teacher.
After finishing glancing around the classroom, the teacher arrives at the classroom and begins to take a roll call. When the last name has been called by the teacher, the teacher introduces herself to everyone in the classroom.
Teacher: "Good morning everyone let me introduce myself, my name is Katelyn Jones or you can call me Miss Jones"
Everyone: "Good morning Miss Jones"
Miss Jones: "Today we are going to....."
After Miss Jones explained what we were going to do today and what we were going to learn for the next 9 years, she ended the class for today's. Me and my friends are going to my room to play with some cardboard and eat lunch that my mom made for us.
After playing and eating some lunch, my friends went back to their room and I who wanted to take a shower heard the system talking to me inside my head.
System: [Sico, today is the day for you to get your first quest.]
Sico: "Great! So what's the quest?."
System: [Ding! Updating quest]
•Prepare For The Future
Prepare and train yourself for the next 10 years before the start of the plot
Time limit: 1 month before the sole survivor awake
Reward: Depends on how prepared the host is
Failure of this quest: -2 to all Special stats]
Sico:'hmm… the difficulty of this first quest is not that bad and the reward I can get is how prepared I am in the future. I think, I still need to focus on reading some books that my father got for me and doing some physical exercise so that when I get out of the vault I have sufficient energy to fight and bring some stuff in the commonwealth so that I don't get tired easily. Oh! And getting Curie when I had my fifteenth birthday, one year before the plot started I was intrigued by what I could find in the vault's new section because in the game there was just a pile of garbage or some broken stuff and no records about the research.'
After receiving the quest, Sico starts reading the books that his father gave him, doing some physical exercise, and occasionally helping around the vault to get some attention like helping the security so he can get a reward like training his accuracy or with the doctor so he can get a reward like some books about the medical field.
After 9 years Sico received his first quest, Sico occasionally gets a quest in the past 9 years and gets some rewards like a bunch of caps, a bunch of 10mm rounds, a fragmentation grenade, 5 stimpaks, a bunch of junk, and some tools that could be useful for him to build or fixing some stuff.
Today is the day Sico and his friends will take the G.O.A.T exam that will determine the job they will get. Miss Jone stepped down a year ago because she wanted to focus on her family, so Miss Katy Finch or Miss Finch is the one who will take the exams for Sico today.
A/n: sorry it's not a special test but a goat exam
Miss Finch: "Okay kids remember what answer you choose today will determine what job you could get. I hope all of you can get the job you always one, so the exams start now."
After a 1 hour exam, Sico and his friends finished answering the exam and submitted the exams to Miss Finch and Miss Finch telling them that the result would be out tomorrow. After going out of the classroom, the Twins Robert Jenny and Sico talk about what might be a job they will get and hopefully get the job they wanted to.
Jenny: "I hope my answer can get the job I want to."
Robert: "Yup hopefully, I want to get the job as a security guard so that I can protect you guys and of course become cool."
Jenny: "Jeez is cool is your passion or something? Well I want to get a job as a doctor so that I can cure you guys went got injuries or get sick, by the way Sico what kind of job do you want?."
Sico: "Well I want to be a mechanic or technician so that went the vault or something got broken down I can fix it right away and of course build some robot secretly."
Jenny and Robert: "Wow Robots? Great show it to us went it's done."
Sico: "Hahaha… you guys really twins, okay then I have to get back to my room and tell my parents that I did great on the exam."
The Twins: "Okay goodbye Sico see you tomorrow."
Sico: "Bye guys, see you tomorrow too."
After separating from the twins, Sico walks to his room and on the way he thinks about went to start the plan to get Curie and of course show the people of Vault 81 the new section of the Vault.
Sico: 'Hmm… getting Curie is top-notch, perhaps she will have a database about the new stimpak and all kinds of research vault tech done before that section goes downhill because of the mole rat escape incident."
While thinking about the plans, Sico finally arrived at his room and went to talk to his parent who anxiously worried about how the exam went?."
Lisa: "So how did the exam go? How did you do? Are you able to take the exam perfectly?."
Jacob: "Okay calm down Lisa, he will be able to ace that exam. Don't forget he has always been a smart boy since little, Right Sico?."
Sico: "Yup, Dad right Mom don't worry about it. I will get the job I always wanted and make you guys feel proud of myself.
Lisa: "Okay then, now take a shower and eat your lunch. Don't forget you have shooting training with Mr. Edwards."
Sico: "Yes ma'am!."
After taking a shower and eating the lunch his mom made for him, Sico went to the shooting range and trained his shooting skills with Mr. Edwards. While training his system suddenly made a sound.
System: [Ding! You have received Shooting skills beginner level.]
Sico: 'Finally after 2 years of training, it's finally upgraded to beginner level.'
After finishing some training with Mr. Edwards, Sico said goodbye and went back to his room to continue to do his daily tasks such as reading some books and exercising.
Sico: "System show me my stats right now."
System: [Okay…]

After finishing seeing his stats, Sico goes to bed and is excited to get his result of the exam tomorrow. Because that means his plans will go into action and the plot is getting closer, he can't wait to see if the sole survivor is a man or a woman.
In the morning when Sico gets up, he excitedly wakes up and goes to the bathroom to take a shower. After that, he eats the breakfast his mom made for him and slowly goes to the classroom to see the result.
On the way to the classroom, Sico meets the Twins and goes together with the twins to the classroom. When they arrive they see everyone excited and waiting for Miss Finch to announce the result, after taking a seat Miss Finch comes in and carries some documents that could be the result of the exam.
Miss Finch: "Good morning everyone, when I call your name please come see me and take your result from me."
While waiting for Miss Finch to call him, Sico and his friends talk about what kind of job they will get after seeing the result of the exam.
Miss Finch: "Sico, please come to get your exam results from me."
Sico: "Okay Miss Finch."
After taking the result from Miss Finch, Sico read the result and wondered what kind of job he got. After reading the result, Sico saw that he had the mechanic and doctor jobs but he had to choose one of them.
Sico: 'Hmm… I think choosing the mechanic has more advantages for me now than the doctor, because I have more experience fixing and building some things than curing people from injury and sickness.'
After writing that he chose the mechanic job, he submitted the paper to Miss Finch and talked to the Twins wondering if they get the job they want.
Sico: "Hey guys do you get your dream job?."
Jenny: "Yup! When you get sick please come to the infirmary and see Dr. Jenny."
Robert: "Of course, dude remember when you train your shooting skills in the shooting range don't forget to ask me to join you for train too."
Sico: "Great, yes Dr. Jenny and Robert please let me train by myself."
After talking they went back to their room, Sico excitedly told his parent about what result he got and of course his parent very proud of him and reminded him to do his job seriously with no regrets.
After taking a shower and eating some lunch, Sico asked the system if he had a reward after getting the G.O.A.T exam result.
Sico: "Hey system, do I get a reward or something after getting the result from the exam?."
System: [Of course,
Congratulations on the result you get intermediate mechanic skills and beginner hand to hand combat skills.]
Sico: 'Great at least now I don't have to train fighting skills and wait two years to upgrade it to beginner level.'
After talking to the system and getting a reward, Sico planning to go to the power station room tomorrow and open the door to the vault's new section and explore it. Of course, he can get Curie to make her become his companion and get the research data from the terminal in the research room.
