people are terrified of having to listen to a authority. or rather the thought of it, since everyone has some type of authority figure it becomes like a hatred thing for some ppl. since they wanna see themselves in the story they wanna see themselves not have to rely on others and become their “slave”. it’s kinda rooted in narcissism

obviously not but the upper echelons of tech in marvel simply outscale most things that are shown in scp. not all but most.
