1 Prologue
"Please no… Nii-san, Tou-san, Kaa-san, please be alright… please be safe…" The young Sasuke ran through the streets of the Uchiha District with panic and confusion on his face. Wherever he looked, there were dead people on the streets, the children, the men, the women, the elderly, all of them dead.
Sasuke did not know why everyone in the clan was dead, nor did he know who killed them, all he wanted was for his family to be safe.
Running through the bloody streets filled with corpses, Sasuke soon arrived at his house, the home was eerily silent, the lights were off and gave him a bad feeling… he quickly went inside, ran to elder brother Itachi's room, and shouted as he opened the door, "Nii-san!" there was no one inside…
Next, he ran to his parent's room and opened the door only to find his father and mother collapsed on the floor as moonlight from the window fell upon their dead bodies, along with the figure of his elder brother standing not far away with his face hidden from the moonlight.
Seeing his parents' corpses, Sasuke panicked, however, seeing Itachi standing behind his parents' bodies, he was a little relieved and spoke, "Nii-san, Tou-san, and Kaa-san are both, and everyone in the clan… I don't understand, just who could do something like th–!"
Tuk!
Before Sasuke could complete his words, a Shuriken passed by his shoulders that tore his t-shirt, drew out blood, and was nailed to the wooden door. Sasuke held his shoulder and widened his eyes in shock upon realizing that the one who threw the Shuriken at him was none other than his beloved elder brother Itachi!
Itachi turned to Sasuke with indifferent eyes, "Foolish Otōto…" then activated his Mangekyō Sharingan and made him witness the death of all the Uchiha Clansmen including his parents at his hands via means of a Genjutsu, almost driving him insane!
"Stop it Nii-san! Why are you showing me all of this?" screamed Sasuke while holding his head in pain, then collapsed on the floor with tears and saliva dripping out. He was barely conscious at this point, and while taking deep breaths, he questioned, "Why?" He struggled to reach out his hand to Itachi and asked as tears flowed down his cheeks, "Why did you do this, Nii-san?"
Itachi with an indifferent gaze answered, "To test the limits of my abilities…"
Sasuke was stunned, "To test your abilities? That's why you did this??" and he couldn't help but ask, "You are telling me that, that was the reason you butchered every single member of our clan?"
Itachi heaved a sigh as if disappointed at Sasuke's question, and answered, "It is of great importance!"
More tears streamed down Sasuke's eyes as he looked at Itachi in anger, he got up and ran toward his elder brother with the intent to kill and screamed, "Don't talk rubbish!"
SMASH!
However, his attack was rendered useless with a punch in the gut by Itachi.
Sasuke once again collapsed on the ground holding his stomach in pain, he raised his head only to see the dead and lifeless face of his father. More and more tears streamed down his eyes.
Itachi stepped forward and blocked Sasuke's vision, the young Uchiha raised his face and saw the indifferent eyes of his once kind elder brother, 'I'm scared!'
'I'm scared!' once again this thought crossed his mind as he quickly got up and ran out of the room while crying!
Itachi silently watched as Sasuke ran out of the room. "I am sorry Sasuke," a small apology escaped out of his lips, but no one heard it. He then quickly 'dealt' with his father's Mangekyō Sharingan and disappeared from the Patriarch's house.

Somewhere on the streets of the Uchiha Clan
Coming out of his house, Sasuke ran as far away from Itachi as he could while crying, and begging, "Aaahahhh…. Don't kill me!"
He was scared, he was really scared, he did not want to die!
He had only crossed a few streets as Itachi stepped in front of him, causing Sasuke to stop and pant for breath. Looking at Itachi, Sasuke begged, "D-don't kill me!"
Itachi looked at the pathetic state of Sasuke with an indifferent expression, and spoke, "The way you are right now, you are not even worth killing!" shocking Sasuke.
Sasuke said, "It's a lie! This isn't like you, Nii-san... This can't be!"
Itachi smiled mockingly as he spoke, "I have acted like the elder brother you desired for one reason… it's because I wanted to discover how powerful you were, I needed to find a worthy opponent to test the limits of my abilities. Despite being pathetically weak right now, you have that potential!
By annihilating the Uchiha Clan, I have made you hate me! Now you have the desire to defeat me, which is exactly why I am going to allow you to live, don't you see?
It's all for my own benefit. Just like me, you may one day become one of the few who are able to use Mangekyō Sharingan, however, there is one big catch to it!
Take the life of your best friend, you must kill him!
Kill him, just like I did!"
Sasuke widened his eyes, "You are saying…" he looked down, afraid to hear the answer, as he questioned, "That was you Nii-san? You killed Shisui-san?"
Itachi affirmed, "I did… that's how I obtained these eyes." And explained, "In the main hall of the Naka Shrine, underneath the seventh tatami mat from the far right is the clan's secret gathering place, there you will find a secret document, an explanation of the Uchiha Clan's Dōjutsu… It tells of Dōjutsu's true purpose." Then added, "If you discover how to awaken it, you will become the third person who currently possesses the Mangekyō Sharingan, including myself. To ensure that happens… Hahaha… that's enough reason to let you live."
Explaining all this stuff, Itachi stepped forward, scaring Sasuke.
Itachi sighed in disappointment, "Oh don't worry Sasuke… I have already told you, the way you are now, you are not worth killing." He then turned around and decided to leave, but before leaving Itachi stopped and said, "If you wish to kill me one day, begrudge me! Hate me! And Keep on Surviving in such an unsightly manner as this… By all means, flee, cling to your wretched life," he stopped then looked back at Sasuke as he activated his Sharingan which then turned into his Mangekyō Sharingan, with his Mangekyou Itachi once again tortured Sasuke using a Genjutsu, "and then one day, when you possess the same eyes… come back and face me!"
This time, Sasuke no longer had enough mental strength left, and he lost consciousness.

A while Later
"There's a survivor…!" one of the Anbu shouted upon checking the nerves of Uchiha Sasuke.
"Take him to the medical unit!!!" ordered Sarutobi Hiruzen.
"As you command Hokage-sama!" nodded the Anbu with long purple hair. She picked up the unconscious Sasuke and disappeared from the Uchiha District.

At the Konoha Hospital, the memories of the Uchiha Genocide kept replaying in the mind of the unconscious Uchiha Sasuke, "Nii-san… Nii-san… why?"
The Anbu with purple hair leaned against the wall of the ward and watched the young Uchiha having a nightmare with pity, 'Poor kid…'
At this time, the Anbu sensed footsteps approaching the room, she readied her sword just in case.
Knock! Knock!
There was a knock on the door, followed by a voice, "It's Hokage-sama!"
The Anbu loosened the grip on the sword, she looked at the young Uchiha, then went out of the room.

Outside, there were two Anbu, along with Sarutobi Hiruzen. The Sandaime Hokage looked at the Anbu who walked out of the medical room, and questioned, "How is the boy?"
The Anbu answered, "There are no serious injuries on his body, just a cut on the shoulder from a Shuriken, and a bruise on the stomach… although, he is constantly having a nightmare…"
Sarutobi Hiruzen pondered for a moment, then asked, "What about his eyes, are there any signs that he has awakened his Sharingan?"
The Anbu shook her head, "So, far there doesn't seem to be any signs."
"I see," nodded Hiruzen, and said, "Keep an eye on him until he wakes up, then bring him to the funeral grounds… The people of the Uchiha Clan were annihilated by Uchiha Itachi, the least they deserve is a proper funeral, and since Uchiha Sasuke is the last remaining member of that Clan, it is up to him to pay that respect."
"As you command, Hokage-sama," nodded the Anbu.
Sarutobi Hiruzen turned around and decided to leave, he had to handle a lot of things, but just before leaving, he made sure to remind the Anbu, "Also, if there are any signs of him awakening the Sharingan, so let me know…"
"I understand!" nodded the Anbu as she watched Hokage-sama and the other two Anbu leave.

At the same time as Sarutobi Hiruzen was having a conversation with the Anbu, inside the Wardroom, where the young Sasuke was having a nightmare, suddenly, a soul, that did not belong to this world appeared inside his body.
It was the soul of a seventeen-year-old seasoned assassin from the modern-day earth. The said assassin had died or rather 'was killed' on a mission because of the betrayal of his aid.
One thing unique about the assassin was that he was also a Naruto enthusiast, as you would have expected from a fanfiction. Arriving inside Uchiha Sasuke's body, the soul merged with the soul of Uchiha Sasuke, the two souls fused and became one with the memories and experiences of both lives.

The pair of black eyes changed and turned red with a black tomoe rapidly spinning within them, however, it didn't stop there, the speed at which the tomoe spun increased more and more as another tomoe appeared in each eye, evolving the single tomoe Sharingan into two tomoe Sharingan.
The memories of past life, the memories of this life, the pain of losing loved ones, the pain of betrayal, and the pain of losing loved ones… all these emotions messed up his mind as the two tomoe spinning in each of his eyes not only did not stop spinning but continued to revolve faster and faster. Soon another change occurred as another tomoe appeared, evolving the two tomoe Sharingan into three tomoe Sharingan, but it still did not stop there… it went further… the three tomoe spun faster and faster as they tried to merge into a dot and evolved into something more 'evil' and more powerful, however… at this time, the mental strength and physical strength of Uchiha Sasuke was completely exhausted, as a result, the eyes failed to evolve into the much powerful Mangekyō Sharingan and regressed back into black pupils as Uchiha Sasuke completely went into a Coma.
His last words, before losing consciousness were, 'Nii-san, Tou-san, Kaa-san… I will avenge you… definitely… kill that guy!'
It was at this time the gate of the wardroom was pushed open. As the purple-haired Anbu walked in. Although she failed to notice the change in the young Uchiha's eyes, she did manage to hear the last words of Uchiha Sasuke before he went into a Coma, and couldn't help but think, 'A desire for revenge against Uchiha Itachi, huh?'
But she couldn't be more wrong, the object of revenge the young Uchiha wasn't just Uchiha Itachi, there were more. The one who would burn in the fury and hatred of Uchiha Sasuke is not just Uchiha Itachi.
