Actually he didn’t rip her soul in half. Just consciousness. They are different. The soul is the container of the consciousness. Ripping consciousness doesn’t effect victims very much but ripping soul does. If she got her soul ripped she won’t be able to become a god as her soul is incomplete.

Basically the two souls fuse and as the other soul was still in blank state all of Ryan’s memories and personality take the place. If the other soul was not in blank state then the stronger soul’s personality will be dominant and it’s will also be affected by the weaker soul’s personality and memories. Stronger the soul that’s lost the battle, the more it affects the dominant one. I hope you will understand what I’m saying.
