Welcome, It's me, the author. I am Ready and here is the obligatory five-star review from me to myself, I can't judge my own book objectively, so I'll simply provide some basic information. -There is no actual romance of any kind involving the protagonist, if you think you see some, it is naught but humour. -The main character is a skeleton that goes by the name of Loimos, as far as sapient corpses go, he is meant to be an undead through and through, everything is for the sake of the dead. -The release rate is two chapters per day, and I intend on keeping it as such until I, or this book, meet our end. If you have any questions, go ahead and asks them below.
The concept and ideas seem pretty nice so far (11 chapters), the story seems to set up to be one of vengeance with a hint of dark powers, though, the first few chapters are held back by the constant switches between first and third person, an issue which is resolved later on but the problem still remain at the very start of the novel, I would suggest a overhaul of the chapters with this issue. The writing isn't bad by any means, but it isn't fluid, in the sense that there are some mistakes that are pretty much impossible to miss, which brings the reading to a stop and hinders the flow severely. Another minor issue, which might not be one for everyone, I personally find the chapters a bit too lengthy, not certain if its just me imagining things. If I am not delusional, then cutting the number of words to around 1000, no less, would be beneficial. All in all, this is the author's first book by the looks of it, the few problems I noted are only natural and will most certainly be erased as they get more experience. Look forward to the future. Also, since I know the author worships Esdeath:
Well, it is a fairly basic fantasy world and as for the system, it is the somewhat extensive but standard system I use for most of my stories with one, nothing too special about it, XP, skills and such, although it isn't very prevalent in Draconic Madness, as with most of my short stories
The Hunchback Of Notre Dame (1996) By Disney
This story has cured my human limitations and allowed me to truly become an ultimate being. I don't have much else to say as my focus is utterly turned to my new capacities but the book is quite nice, certain people will surely find the premise absolutely baller and I would recommend to follow through with your interest.
I have read many stories in my time, as well as given my fair share of review, never have I ever done so out of the free will of my very own brain but anyhow, today I will review 'Tales Of Isfet' by unknown author 'slowpokeChaos' who apparently doesn't put capitalization at the start of their own name, proof that they don't think much of themselves and, by extension, of their own work. However, this story has brought me something marvelous, much like many other stories I enjoyed reading through it but unlike with the past stories, this one brought enlightenment to me, I have been able to shed my former body like a catterpillar (literally), I have advanced to a greater state of being. Thank you author! As for the rest, I guess it's fine.
The quality of the writing is very good and feels somewhat simplistic in a good way, it makes you feel strangely involved in what is happening for some reason, the updates seems to be coming out at a fairly regular pace, the story may feel like its developping slowlyat times but it didn't hinder the reading, overall, I would recommend to give it a read.
