Even if he tried, youjutsu is impossible to learn for non yokai, and Senjetsu is too time consuming to learn, he should at least try to see if he can awaken his Touki.

Since he has 2 souls in his body, it should be easier for him to distinguish his own soul as Sukuna said, having 2 souls make you aware of the shape of your own soul which is normally impossible.
