"..wh?" Xiao Ling was dumbstruck, he suddenly felt faint as he stumbled "ugh" Yanzhi quickly caught him and hugged him to himself. "Are you okay?" Yanzhi asked worriedly. Just as the drowsiness came unexpectedly, it left the same way. "Yes, I'm fine" Xiao Ling answered with vigour. "More than that i feel as if i could feel the universe." Xiao Ling said. "Xiang gong what did you do? You....it announced me as your recognized dao companion, what's that?" he asked shyly blushing. "Aren't you my wife and aren't we married? What's the matter if i recognized you when it said to state who my dao was?" Yanzhi felt that Xiao Ling's question was strange, he answered slightly angry. "Or do you not recognize me as your dao?" he asked with a cold face. Xiao Ling was flabbergasted by his question. "No! that's not it, i just didn't know there was something like that. Xiang gong I'm sorry don't be angry okay" Xiao Ling pleaded with restless but Yanzhi just ignored. Xiao Ling was at lost and didn't like the feeling of being ignored by Yanzhi. He stood on tip toes trying to match the height of Yanzhi, Xiao Ling without notice clashed his lips on Yanzhi's. He remained like that with their lips touching not knowing what to do next, seeing how clueless Xiao Ling was YanZhi chuckled and pried open Xiao Ling's mouth as he took control and lead the kiss. They both only broke the kiss when Xiao Ling could no longer breath and was panting hard, Xiao Ling was soft after the kiss as he rested his head on Yanzhi's chest. Yanzhi was very satisfied with Xiao Ling taking the initiative to kiss today, he stroked Xiao Ling's hair with satisfactory. - Mary_Jeremiah2mthCommented

Xiao Ling became more vigilant after appraising the beast that stood between him and the path leading out of the beast's habitants. The enormous spider beast changed paths after seeing him and went on its way, Xiao Ling was baffled by its retrieving figure which made him watched it go on its way dumbfounded. Only then did he remember that this was Yanzhi's personal space and since Yanzhi was able to keep so many dangerous beasts and let them roam freely then Yanzhi had the power to keep them in check. Just as he was also about to go on his way something flashed and caught his sight. Xiao Ling approached where the spider beast was just moments ago, on the floor was two ball of silk webs.
