59 Chapter 59 - Whipped

Muchen stood there, panting in anger. And when all those feelings had been blurted out in words, he started to feel a wave of embarrassment wash over him. 'What did I just do?'

His shocked eyes fell on Yunfeng, who was looking up at him, eyes wide open.

'Oh my god! Why did I behave like that? That is not like me! I didn't mean to be so violent. I'm never violent! What if Yunfeng thinks I'm that kind of guy? We are still in a delicate period! Oh my god, he is going to hate me.' He opened his mouth to explain himself, but no words came out of him.

"Why are you gaping like a fish?" the annoying guy named Jai muttered, patting his dusty back.

"I... I didn't mean to..." Muchen gazed at Yunfeng. "I am never like that... I don't know what came over me?"

Yunfeng blinked at him. 'I think I know why... his rut period might be close.'

He had heard from other omegas whispers that when the alpha is during a rut period, they start to get extremely possessive of their omega. Some have even gone to the extent of imprisoning their omegas for a few days until the rut was over. Because if their mate was approached by someone else, they might lose their wits and attack them.

'Gosh... is this what is going on?' He reached out and gently held Muchen's trembling hand. "I know... it's okay. I understand... but Jai is my best friend. I don't see him in a romantic way. His touches don't make me feel like yours." He said in a subtle whisper.

Muchen froze like a statue. "R-really? I'm special?"

Yunfeng nodded.

"Oh... Yunfeng... you are special to me too..." Muchen moved closer.

"AHEM AHEM!!!!" 

Jai raised his hand with a scowl. "Can you both acknowledge me? im stranding right here! Am I invisible? Or are you both ignoring me on purpose?"

Muchen glared up at the living light bulb. "I hate you."

"I know. But you got to go, buddy. It's late at night; the nurses will come around, and what will they think if they see a mega film star mopping around in this room? I don't want to be attacked by paparazzi. thank you"

muchen sighed. 

the annoying light bulb was right. 

"Text me the time of your discharge. I'll pick you guys up." Muchen gently pulled his warm hand close to his face and kissed his knuckles. "See you later."

The young man blushed with his head down. "S-see you."

Muchen gazed at the annoying guy with a victorious smirk and left the room with a swagger in his steps.

"He is so annoying," Jai plopped back on the bed. "Why do you even like that man?" he poked his friend's blushing cheeks.

Yunfeng pouted. "I don't know. I just like him."

"Then why didn't you accept his proposal?" Jai laid down comfortably next to him. "I heard everything from outside."

Yunfeng twiddled with his fingers. "Right now it's all physical attraction. I want to be immensely in love with him before I accept his advances. Thanks for interrupting," he smiled at him softly. "Muchen is really seductive. If left alone, I will be swept away by him completely."

"I know that. Why do you think I came in? Gosh, I hate being a cockblock too. But that guy really needs to chill. He would have jumped your bones if I wasn't here." Jai pinched his hip. "Hehe... and who is he to say I can't touch you?"

Chuckling, Yunfeng pushed his hand away with a pretentious grin. "He is right; you can't touch me like that."

"gasp, my best friend. How can you change sides so quickly? You can't listen to that lunatic."

Yunfeng gazed up at the ceiling with a bright grin. "What can I do? That man is winning my heart. I can't help but follow his stupid orders."

"You are whipped."

Jai glanced at the small vase he was hugging in his arms. "Don't be so easily swept away. He can't just give you limp flowers and expect your heart in return." He flicked the flower's head slightly.

Yunfeng protectively hugged the vase close. "Don't touch it. It's mine."

Jai sat there peering down at his silly friend. He knew Yunfeng was naïve, but he didn't expect the guy to be so naïve. His gaze then fell on the bunch of roses that were in the trash bin. 'Who am I kidding? you are equally silly as that guy…'

"Does your darling know those flowers were from his assistant?"

Yungeng gazed at the roses with a loud chuckle. "I don't think he does. You should have seen his face. He looked like a sneaky cat when he tossed that away."

Jai smiled softly and hugged his best friend. "I'm kind of happy you found love."

"You will too."

"Tsk, of course. The love of my life actually works for your lover."

"Huh!" Yunfeng shot up. "You're actually in love?"

"Yeah, she is an older woman," Jai smirked. "We are so in love…"

"really?!"

"no im kidding."
