Just wanna suggest this... Can you add something like an arsenal for torterra for his outer shell at the back? Maybe if he evolves more he can have blastoise cannon attack? That would be cool. Anyways that's just my random thought here's a suggestion you can actually use. He's a turtle right? And when he evolves he only enhances what he already have, still it would be fun to make him a progenitor of the turtle adding unique evolutionary paths open as additional arsenals he could use to fight the kaijus. Here are unique turtles I know. snapping tortoise(A quick bite that would prove dangerous to his enemies.) Alternative for that is the african helmeted turtle(Strong shell on his head that could bring devastating head hooks to kaijus.) A spiky turtle(A part of his shell that prevents enemy kaijus from holding him done or go for a deadly spin like a saw towards his enemies.) or hawkbills sea turtle (making him have sharp or blunt paddle like appendages on his arms that may help him swim faster and can be use as a offensive and defensive appendages.) You can use that in tandem with his unique ability that lets him burst fire out of his body. I hope you like it.

I would just like to say, thank you for clarifying some of my doubts in writing. I always wanted to write a fanfic however I procrastinate a lot of times when I read all the key components in making it similar to cannon and at that point I lose all the built motivation I had when I want to start writing one... I made an original fiction due to that reason, creating something that I can relate to and be aware of how it would go made me consider it but that doesn't seem to be going well because of my scatterbrain mind(insert crying emoji). Therefore, I always need to refresh my memory by reading from chapter 1 until the latest chapter to fully understand what I missed and still I know I have lots of blindspots due to my inexperienced self when writing stuffs. It discourages me, and I wanted to learn more by reading this and surely it really helped me dude...Thank you again!💖

Try to create a skill called Weapon Mastery, If you train a weapon then that means you can see your progress through it and even better you can add a technique for the sword for example: Weapon Mastery<Sword, Spear<Techniques<Resko's Swordmanship. Weapon Mastery doesn't mean that he would be an expert to master a certain type of weapon but rather he could effectively use it during a fight but if he fights someone who has a sword technique he wouldn't win but if he monstrous stats then there is a chance for him to win.
