They dont. Like Lancer Scathach can still use runes. And there is a Lancer that uses a spear, as both melee and a staff. The Games only do that, "they lose all other skills" thing.

Pretty trash NGL. Came looking for something to read. Start reading, Writing style for the next 50 chapters is Script style. The Author writes like a 12 year old with a power fantasy, and the grammar sucks. The Story got boring really fast, Might as well read harem garbage.
