11 Fittoa magical disaster

The Magical University of Ranoa

The majestic magical university, for many the meeting place of wizards, a place that has accumulated records about magic for centuries.

Undoubtedly a paradise for any mage, with enough knowledge for even the dimmest to understand what magic is.

Today, unlike normal days, the university, which usually remains quiet, seems much more active than usual.

The reason for this? Well, one of the most famous classes in the entire university is about to begin, and its excellence is mainly due to a special figure.

"Hey! Hurry up, the class is about to start. There's no way I can miss this class; I only have it once a week," shouted the student A of the Ranoa Magical University to his classmates.

"Darn it, wait, I have to fix my hair. What if the teacher sees me in a bad state? I'll ruin my image," responded the student Z, meticulously checking himself in a mirror.

"Damn superficial bastard. Although maintaining a good image in front of the teacher is important, the most important thing is magic. I recently advanced to intermediate rank thanks to her lecture," the student A retorted, secretly having lost count of how many times he checked himself in the mirror before coming here.

"Hey, wait, don't leave without me!" exclaimed the student X as he rushed out of the room.

"What the hell!? Did you dye your hair?" The A students and Z students were dumbfounded to see their friend's new hair color.

"This? Well, I thought maybe changing the color might catch the teacher's attention," the student X smiled with anticipation.

"Darn it, changing your hair color won't change your ugly face, you idiot!" the student Z retorted, hitting him with a dose of reality.

"Shit," cursed the student X angrily.

"We have 7 minutes left! Hurry, if we're even a minute late, that evil assistant of hers will leave us outside," the student A said as he rushed towards the classroom, remembering the evil assistant who would shut the door in your face with a mocking smile even if you were just a minute late.

"Is the class really that important?" A janitor who was cleaning nearby and witnessed the scene couldn't help but be astonished.

"Haha, it's normal that you don't know. After all, you're new here. Look, I'll explain it to you," his fellow janitor, who was cleaning, looked at the newcomer and explained with a smile.

"Two years ago, a teacher came to give classes at the university. Her name is Riveria Ljos Alf, an elf," the janitor recounted the story they called the legend of beauty and magic.

After Riveria's arrival, her classes immediately became famous, mainly due to her extraordinary beauty.

Nobles, wealthy merchants, and powerful men flocked to her class, initially just to feast their eyes on the beauty of the elf.

But over time, they realized something: her classes were truly amazing. Not only were they easily understandable, but they also taught magic with an almost divine perfection.

When rumors spread that students who originally only attended to try to conquer the teacher began to improve in magic by leaps and bounds, that caught the attention of more students.

The more students listened to Riveria's class, the more famous it became. Despite having only three classes a week, it was enough for Riveria's class to soon gain the title of the Chalice of Magic.

"Incredible, right!?" The new janitor couldn't believe something so amazing.

"Hehe, newbie, for students to be so desperate, I don't see any other reason."

...

In a luxurious classroom, filled with books and meticulously organized.

At the lectern, a beautiful elf could be seen, currently organizing her materials for the class.

Near the elf, in a chair, sat a man with golden hair and golden eyes, practically lounging in the chair, his eyes lifeless, clearly wanting to be anywhere but here.

Suddenly, the sound of footsteps outside the classroom was heard.

"Riveria, the monkeys have arrived," Kaylon, who was lounging in the chair, lifted his head and said to Riveria.

"Kami-Sama, I've told you many times, don't call my students monkeys," Riveria rubbed her forehead in frustration.

"Hmph, as long as they continue to look like monkeys, I'll keep calling them that," the God crossed his arms, unsatisfied.

"Sighh... Can you please open the door for them? It's time to start the class," Riveria sighed.

"Alright, I'll go. Um, I'll open the door for 10 minutes and then close it, kekeke," Kaylon smirked, thinking about how fun it is to close the door right at the exact moment time is up and see their desperate faces outside.

"Kami-Sama, I hope you haven't acquired any strange fetishes," Riveria worriedly thought about her God, fearing that his divinity of light might turn into darkness.

"What are you talking about, Riveria? I just like punctual people, nothing more," Kaylon casually lied.

Kaylon walked to the classroom door and unlocked it, then gently opened it.

As soon as the door opened, like opening the gates of heaven, a horde of students rushed in like wild beasts.

"Riveria-sama, good morning! Today you're as beautiful as ever."

"Oh, beautiful Riveria-sama, you brighten even my darkest days. Please allow me to give you these chocolates as a token of gratitude."

"Riveria-sama, as I was walking here, I casually saw this bouquet of flowers. Please allow me to give it to you."

"Riveria-sama, I was having a bad day, but seeing you lifted my spirits. Here, take these chocolates."

Like wasps to honey, all the men approached Riveria's lectern and began giving gifts and showering her with praise.

Unperturbed by this, Riveria simply lifted her head and said, "I'm glad you have energy for class. You can leave the gifts where you always do, and please take your seats quietly."

"Of course, Riveria-sama."

"As you command, Riveria-sama."

The students obediently listened to Riveria's words, left the gifts on the shelf she designated for them, and then took their seats.

Kaylon, who witnessed the scene with disdain, waited eagerly to close the door cruelly.

"5, 4, 3, 2, 1... And the door is closed," Kaylon ruthlessly shut the door, leaving some students who didn't make it inside standing outside.

With a mocking smile and sticking out his tongue, he walked away from the door under the murderous gaze of the students outside.

"He did it again. Truly, that guy is the embodiment of evil."

"Poor fallen comrades. I hope they get another chance next time."

"Hmph, just pagans. If you don't have the guts to camp outside the classroom the night before, you don't have the right to complain."

"You're really dedicated."

The students who witnessed the scene sighed for their fallen comrades and glared at Kaylon.

Unlike Riveria, who earned the title of "fairy teacher" for being the most beloved teacher in the university, he earned a different title: "the most hated person in the university."

You can get an idea of how much Kaylon is hated at the university.

However, no matter how much he's hated, no one dares to do anything to him. It's not that no one dares to; in fact, several have tried.

But ever since Kaylon violently beat up the last person who tried, left him in his underwear, and hung him from the highest pole in the university, no one else dared.

Walking through the middle of the classroom under the murderous eyes of the students, Kaylon went to the gift shelf, took some chocolates, opened them, and ate them in front of everyone.

Riveria, who saw this, simply rubbed her forehead and sighed. There's nothing she can do about her God's attitude.

After 4 hours of class, Riveria finished her lecture and bid farewell to her students.

"Well, that's class for today. See you next time."

The students quickly got up from their seats and rushed towards Riveria.

"Thank you, Riveria-sama, for today's class. It was magnificent as always."

"Riveria-sama, you were magnificent in class today."

"Riveria-sama, I admire you so much. May I shake your hand?"

"Bastard, how dare you ask to shake Riveria-sama's hand?"

"Yeah, idiot. Mortals like us are not worthy."

Kaylon, seeing people crowding around Riveria, got up, lifted his right leg, and kicked the nearest one.

"Get out, bastards! My shift is over, so if you don't want to be beaten until your own mother can't recognize you, get lost, you herd of simps."

With several kicks, the students had no choice but to retreat, cursing under their breath.

"Riveria, are we done? Can we go home?" Kaylon eagerly took Riveria's hand.

"I still have to tidy up all the materials and straighten up the classroom," Riveria gently persuaded her lazy God.

Kaylon slumped back into his chair, devoid of any energy.

As Riveria organized everything, Kaylon began to reminisce about how he became Riveria's assistant at the university. Well, it all started when...

Two years ago, Riveria and he arrived at the magical university. As soon as they arrived, the first thing Riveria did was go to the magical university and meet the dean.

After stating their purpose for coming, the dean immediately provided them with all the information from Holy Mage to King-ranked Mage.

One would think that's where it all ended, but no! The darn dean had to open his mouth. The dean offered her a deal that Riveria simply couldn't refuse.

Riveria would have to work as a teacher at the magical university, and in return, she would have access to the library that had existed for several centuries and was filled with magical knowledge.

How could Riveria, an elf obsessed with magic, refuse something like that? She immediately accepted.

Well, at that time, Kaylon didn't care either way. In fact, he thought it would be good; Riveria would go to work, while he would stay at home and be lazy all day.

But who would have imagined that Riveria, the model wife (still unofficial), would notice her God's desires? How could she allow her God to degenerate in such a way?

So, like a good wife (still unofficial), she got him a job.

That's right, a Primordial God, a supreme being, the embodiment of light.

He would have to work. Of course, he firmly refused at first, but with Riveria's sweet words, she penetrated his defenses, and in the end, here he was.

A part-time working God.

Since then, his life has been bleak, although Riveria only has 3 classes per week, that's enough for Kaylon's life to lose its color.

"Kami-Sama, I'm done. Stop making that face as if you're suffering from all the world's woes," Riveria complained about her lazy God.

"Hmph, treacherous elf," Kaylon snorted, unsatisfied.

"Sighh... How about we go out for dinner tonight? I'll treat you to a restaurant recommended by a fellow teacher," Riveria tried to lift her God's spirits.

"Is it a date!?" Kaylon suddenly perked up.

"A date!? Well, let's just say it's a date," Riveria blushed like a tomato, finally admitting it was a date.

During these two years, not only did Riveria progress in magic, becoming a King-ranked mage of water and wind.

But also, the relationship between him and Riveria has reached a point where the only reason they're not a couple is because neither has taken the initiative to confess.

After more than 6 years of living together, practically apart from the sexual relationship, they're no different from a married couple.

In the last half year, their relationship has been getting closer and closer to being an official couple.

"Hahaha, so it's a date, my dear Riveria," Kaylon smiled.

"Um, a date," Riveria also smiled, blushing.

(I'll address their relationship soon. I asked where you preferred their relationship to be confirmed, and you chose Mushoku. Therefore, in the following chapters, I'll be preparing the moment for their confession, where Riveria will finally change her last name.)

...

Weeks have passed since the date with Riveria, and today Kaylon's house is bustling with activity, the reason being, well.

Today is a special day, today an event will take place that will change the world, the great event of the magical catastrophe of Fittoa.

"Come on, Riveria, hurry up or we'll be late," Kaylon was trying to drag Riveria along.

"Uhh, wait, Kami-sama, I have to prepare my analysis spells. A magical disaster spanning an entire region isn't something you see every day."

For this day, she specifically asked her God to teach her spells capable of analyzing magic and storing it for later study.

After all, thanks to her God's information, she can get an idea of what causes this disaster.

And according to her God, this involves a transmigration from one world to another, so spatial magic, more precisely spatial rules, will be very present, which will help her understand the mysterious spatial magic.

"You've been preparing that for three days, for God's sake, how many more magic analytical circles do you need!?" Kaylon was speechless.

It's been three days since they started gathering magic about Fittoa, and according to Kaylon's calculations, the catastrophe will strike in 1 hour.

"As many as necessary!" Riveria shouted, trying to escape from her God.

"No, the ones you have now are fine," Kaylon exerted more force and took Riveria, carrying her in a princess hug.

"Hey, Kami-sama!!!"

"Let's go!"

...

A mountain in the center of the Fittoa region.

Soon, there was a spatial fluctuation atop the mountain, and two figures emerged from it.

A man with golden hair and golden eyes carrying an elf in his arms.

"Kami-Sama, can you put me down?" Riveria, with a pout on her face and a disgruntled look, said to Kaylon.

"Just a little longer," Kaylon didn't listen and continued carrying her in his arms.

"Hey, that's not fair, put me down!" Riveria said aloud as she struggled to get free.

After seeing that her God wouldn't let go, she stopped struggling and buried her blushing face in his chest.

After a while, Kaylon let go of Riveria, not realizing she seemed somewhat reluctant.

Riveria, as soon as she touched the ground, began to set up the analysis circles around them.

Meanwhile, Kaylon began to use his divinity to cover Zenith, Lars, Lars' wife, Lilia, and their daughter, and put some energy over the rest of the Greyrat Family, Eris, and Ghislaine.

These are the people of interest for his future family, so it's important that nothing unexpected happens to them.

Kaylon decided that Zenith would land in a village near the city of Milis, so she could reunite with her family when she woke up. If there were any problems after that, Kaylon didn't care.

Then he also adjusted Sylphie's family to land north of the Asura Kingdom.

Regarding Lilia and her daughter, he originally didn't care, but seeing their friendship with Riveria, Kaylon let them land in a city near their original village. If this affects the future relationship between Rudeus and Aisha, Kaylon doesn't care either.

Regarding the most important person, Riveria's disciple Sylphie, Kaylon adjusted any danger upon landing and gave her a protective barrier. After all, she's Riveria's only disciple and is very special to her.

As for the rest of the people, Kaylon blocked off places like the sea, volcanoes, and the sky, except where Sylphie would land. The rest were left to their own devices. He's not a saint, and he didn't cause this disaster, so he doesn't feel any responsibility. What he's done is already enough out of the kindness of his heart. (Remember, my God represents light, so he's more inclined to the just side than the neutral or chaotic, but he doesn't have the personality of a hero or a saint either.)

Then he also placed one over Riveria, just in case it was teleportation. And although Kaylon could bring her back immediately, it's better not to tempt fate.

After setting everything up, Kaylon watched Riveria set up the circles and even helped her with some.

Having helped Riveria with her work, Kaylon relaxed, closed his eyes, and waited.

After about 30 minutes, Kaylon opened his eyes and told Riveria, "Riveria, it's coming. Come here, so you won't be harmed by the magic," even though he had already protected her, being close to him is better.

"I'm coming. By the way, Kami-sama, about Sylphie and her family, also Zenith and Lilia, oh, and their children," Riveria finished the last circle and ran to where her God was.

"Don't worry, I've already sorted everything out," Kaylon smiled and reassured Riveria.

Riveria smiled relieved; Sylphie, as her disciple, is important to her.

After settling beside her God, she observed the magical phenomenon, which she could now see too.

After a while, the enormous wave of highly concentrated mana exploded, sweeping across the entire Fittoa region.

The huge blue pillar swept everything in its path, teleporting everything within reach. Kaylon saw that even the animals were transported, which made him think that the Fittoa region would take a while to recover.

Riveria watched the phenomenon in amazement, as the light enveloped them, trying to comprehend everything she could.

"My circles!" After the mana wave passed over them, she quickly went to check her circles.

Meanwhile, Kaylon observed the center of the explosion where there was nothing before, but now there was a young girl with black hair and black eyes.

"Nanahoshi..." Kaylon thought; he would like to have her in his family, as she is undoubtedly a rare talent.

But Kaylon knows it's not possible. In the original story, Nanahoshi never agreed to live in this world and spent her life trying to return to her own world, so it's futile to invite her, and he knows she won't accept.

About helping her in the future, Kaylon believes he can do it. It doesn't cost him anything. After all, when the worlds came into contact, he saved her coordinates.

But it will be in the future. After all, she still has importance in this world. Then he'll simply rewind time in her world to before she left, back to Danmachi.

Suddenly, Kaylon was pulled out of his thoughts when he felt a source of mana approaching.

"Is that... Almanfi the Bright?" Kaylon recognized who it was and looked with interest at the mana signature heading their way.

"Shouldn't he be with Rudeus? It seems to be a Mariposa," Kaylon smiled, interested in the fact that some of his actions will change the future, even if it's just a small change, it's the first time for him.

"You attack without even asking," Kaylon smiled mockingly at the attack Almanfi launched without warning.

Before the attack could land, it was disintegrated upon entering Kaylon's aura domain.

"Are you the cause of this magical disaster? I felt a large amount of mana in this place before the catastrophe struck. Does it have something to do with you?" Almanfi asked in an authoritative tone.

"I have nothing to do with the magical catastrophe. I just brought my elf here to see if she could learn something about spatial magic. You can see that the magical signature of the catastrophe is natural, not caused by man," Kaylon smiled and explained his presence here and reminded him of the nature of the catastrophe.

"I see, so you might have an idea of what caused the magical disaster... you will come with me, I'll take you before Plegarios-sama to judge whether you are guilty or not!" Almanfi said in a tone that left no room for refusal.

"Hehe, I'm sorry but I have no interest in seeing Plegarios, nor do I have to justify myself to anyone, so I'll have to decline," Kaylon chuckled lightly at the idea of being judged by a lizard.

"I see, then I'll have to take you by force," Almanfi remained indifferent to Kaylon's response.

Then, without warning, he unsheathed his short sword and moved at an extraordinary speed towards Kaylon.

"Disasters come from arrogance, a very suitable phrase for your situation," Kaylon shook his head with pity.

Almanfi, who was approaching, prepared to incapacitate the man and take him before Plegarios-sama, suddenly saw two fingers appear in front of his eyes. Then, before he could react, he only heard the man's voice and then everything went dark.

"Consider yourself merciful, for leaving your soul alive. When Plegarios revives you, I hope you reconsider what happened today. If not, you and yours are welcome to come back, but remember, next time I won't be so kind."

Kaylon looked at Almanfi, who had turned into dust without any expression. In his eyes, there is no difference between crushing an ant and killing Almanfi.

"Uh, Kami-sama, what happened?" Riveria saw her God levitating and some ashes on the ground and asked confused.

She was so focused on her magic circles that she didn't even notice the "fight."

"Nothing, just a fly that flew too close to the light and got burned," Kaylon descended and told Riveria.

"Oh... You won't believe the amount of information I managed to gather. Once I learn everything the circles captured, my level in spatial magic will surely improve!" Riveria almost jumped for joy, she was so excited that she didn't even think about her God's previous words.

Kaylon smiled happily at his elf's gains.

"Well, pack everything up, it's time to leave here. There's nothing more to see," Kaylon reminded the elf.

Orsted won't take long to arrive here; he knows that with the personality of the Dragon God, if he sees him here, there will surely be a fight, and Kaylon doesn't feel like meeting him now.

"Alright, Kami-sama."

After replying, Riveria went to pick up the remaining circles.

Kaylon looked towards the demon continent and the different directions where they fell, his future children, and after seeing everyone well, he stopped paying attention.

"The time is approaching. Soon, I'll have a family full of incredible talents," Kaylon smiled excitedly, imagining the gods dying of envy for his family.

"However, it seems that there are some talents that can be collected in advance," Kaylon thought.

Elinalise and Talhand are great talents to recruit. Elinalise is an expert adventurer with a lot of strength and experience, and then there's Talhand, a dwarf with a lot of experience as well. Besides, he also has talent as a blacksmith, which excites Kaylon.

"I'll have to talk to Riveria about it and then prepare everything for them to join.

"Hehe, the original plot begins and destiny starts to turn. It's so much fun, how I love being a God," Kaylon laughed with excitement.

"Kami-Sama, stop laughing like a crazy person and come help me."

"Oh, sorry, I got lost in my monologue. I'm coming, Riveria!"
