i guess it might make sense for him to be self-centered enough to not consider/ care about her feelings at all in this. obviously she would say that this is way worse but mc just wants her alive for hia oqn gratification. stupid (and not what I would prefer to read) but maybe logical.
where was anything like that said? I can't recall seeing a single word about being able to deactivate them.
I had the same impression as you from the original description of the system. but seems like author couldn't motivate these pathetic scenes with that so here we are.
maybe it wasn't sincere, but last time they met didn't he thank John for saving him.
Would probably not help seing how he didn't even try to use his newly achieved power (the op support companion) to save them.
While he couldn't stop her from following him, he could have leveled up in easier areas not revealing more than she already knew (for example him learning a new skill and it being maxed out immediately, and the fusion things)
good thing he hid is talent from all the strong people in the capital (and federation at large)... just to them reveal his power to a scion of one of the prominent families that he knows nothing about.
if you scroll up a few paragraphs you will see that he has a bunch of skills right now (e.g. max level pyrokenisis)
shadow clones?
"despite his inner resistance to robbing innocent people, his lack of strength forced him to adapt and go along with the flow" - chapter 1 so unless him robbing (and maybe even killing some?) people turned him into a psychopath wantonly murdering people, this makes no sense.
why is the df ability any different then haki though? both can be trained and are just part of a persons power. i feel like a df is just a tool that takes time to master much like say a sword.
yeah but for a top 100 ranking to make sense there should be more then 100
