Holy... is this true? I havn't read CoI because it felt off. The writing style completely changed from the original. The constant action and mystery has been replaced by long and drawn-out narratives filled mainly with not-so-needed dialogue and excessive drama At least from the first few chaps that is what I felt. Maybe I should read it...

I mean I should have done that, and you are right. But at the time when I started writing this, I was more focused on trying to get the mc involved in the original plot. I a sorry if the fic has a lot of summary. I also admit my writing skills are really bad, nowhere even close to even thinking of comparing to the original writer of Lotm. So yeah, I'm trying. Mc: lol, remove clothes but not underwear and go back to the college Me: Now that doesn’t seem fair now does it? I mean he tried to kill you! Consider this. If the president was in his bulletproof car, and a gunman pulls out an automatic rifle and blasts the car windows with bullets. Of course, considering the strength of the windows, nothing happens to the president and everybody knew it so nobody was afraid for the president’s life. Tell me, would the gunman not be accused of attempted murder and treated accordingly?? Now considering this is a much more brutal world than our modern society, shouldn’t punishments for such actions be a lot higher. Ok, I get it that mc cannot do anything more considering the old man was there, but the mc should at least bear a grudge to be settled later, or be a lot more wary as he now has a very strong enemy in the college (strong as in politically) Our mc here is just like: why would I care about an ant that is so inferior to me? Maybe my writing is really bad, but in the prev chapter I had said that 5 had died. In this chapt, he learns that in reality 7 had died, compared to the original 5, as 2 more had died while he was away... Hope this helps
