If he can change his appearance at will why would he wear a mask? makes more sense for him not to wear a mask so people aren’t suspicious
If he has a spar like the one against machi in an earlier chapter, as her abilities are weaker than huey’s he won’t need to use cursed energy to beat her. So then won’t he lose his nen?
I’m confused on what exactly it is he is challenging them about? Is he saying if any of them get in the top 3 in the sports festival in any of the rounds he will give them his seat? (this might just be fanfiction talking and this might be wrong but) did they not say that if you perform well in the sports festival some people may be moved up to the hero class? So anyone who can get top 3 probably would move up to the hero class anyway. Idk I might just be missing what he is challening them about.
Maybe I missed something, but if no one can leave the tower, how do they have information on which guild is the best?
Deep thoughts with the deep
Are you saying that card counting isn’t cancelled out by high luck? Card counting isnt an exact science, it’s all about statistics and probability, if you have high luck which means that you will always have the best cards possible then card counting won’t work as the probability of continuously getting the best cards will be super small. Even if it did work, it wouldn’t matter as you always will have the best cards due to luck so your opponents cards will be worse or equal at best and you will always beat the house. Therefore there is no need to card count as you will always win.
Care to elaborate on why I’m wrong lol, all I’m saying is that high luck makes card counting useless as you are going to win anyway. It’s extra hassle and you get nothing out of doing it if your luck means you are always going to win
Surely card counting is useless when luck is involved??? As far as I’m aware card counting allows you to calculate the probability of other peoples hands, if luck is involved which causes the probability of their hands to be worse and for your hand to be better then there is no point in counting the cards as your luck will cancel all that out. I may be wrong but that’s just my thought process
He also gets unlimited talent though. This one is much harder to explain, Cus if he has unlimited talent does this mean he can look at something once e.g. a nen ability, and instantly understand it due to how high his talent level is, or even something mundane like dancing and be able to replicate it perfectly, or does it mean he just has an increased learning speed for every subject as the unlimited talent part means he has a talent for everything. In my head im quantifying talent as the speed at which you learn something new, therefore does unlimited talent mean he picks things up instantly. Probably not or else the story would become redundant.
Funny you should mention giving her spider powers lol, author replied to someone above saying he is giving her spider powers :(
Unlimited potential is still pretty broken though, in theory it means he doesn’t have a level cap on his abilities or on his physical strength. While he does have to train for it its still insane.
I dont know how broad your definition of mystical energy is. like say he was to recieve something like an infinity stone, could he absorb some of its energy? Or is it purely only internal energies like chi
Would he be able to absorb energy from the sun? Almost like superman except with no kryptonite weakness? Obviously you cant make him instantly OP from it but it could still make him very strong.
👍
I came of wrong there, wasnt meaning it to sound like he doesnt have skill, what im saying is that skill level for competitive gaming is not comparable to skill for fighting the same way it is different to skill for football etc. you dont see any 8 year olds playing football for liverpool etc. just because there is an 8 year old pro gamer doesnt mean there are 8 year olds at the same level in other things.
I would classify that as a mix of talent and luck, and while he may be good, he probably isnt the best (yet-of he doesnt drop off). Thats not the best example though, for fighting its more like saying an 8 year old kid entered worlds strongest man and won, it wont ever happen. Thats not saying there isnt strong 8 year old kids, just not strong enough to compete against the peak level athletes
Im not saying his writing is bad. im saying you cant use being a genius to explain everything, especially if you say that your mc is more talented than everyone at everything. i have no issue with an mc who is talented, but when writing a fanfic, if you just make your mc OP and able to fight(and even beat) people who have had years of training due to his ‘talent’ then it starts to sound ridiculous
??? All of them are top level nen users, what do you mean they dont have good/special dna and are only an assassin family. for all we know they could indeed have special dna. either way it doesnt matter, in the hxh universe its said that to naturally awaken your nen it takes ages (i think zushi did it in like 3 months) so it probably doesnt even matter what level of a genius you are, if you dont do the training to open your aura nodes you wont be able to naturally awaken nen. so therefore mc being a genius who did nothing and still unlocked his nen is stupid. i dont really want to have an arguement on something that cant be proven(due to it not being explained in hxh-or maybe it is and im forgetting it) im just stating my opinion that authors should attempt to expand their writing skills and explain things rather than covering plot holes with “mc is far more talented than everyone in this universe due to me writing him this way”
